I'm looking for options to add heating elements inside my 2nd gen bars so I can keep my existing Kury grips. For those cold weather riders that have them, what did you go with? BTW, they don't need to work on days like today where the temp is -17...-45 wind chill in ND!

It is 17 degrees here is south georgia and I rode my bike to work. The post man just delivered the mail and said when he was in germany he rode his bike in the snow but I was crazy riding in this weather. He said with the wind chill it is probably 0. I rode it this morining just to show people I can. Did any of you ride this morning?

When I bought my first 86 Ursula Gold on Black, I found a temp strip to stick to the bottom of my left mirror. Anyone know where to find those? Or is there something else? Actual road temp is impossible due to wind chill, but wind chill DOES give some warning before one runs into Colorado black ice. Now, don't let that discourage you from coming to CO. Today it was in the mid 50's and I putt in 55 miles in the foot hills of the CO eastern front. Thanks for the info from anyone. JackZ

I'm just getting in from a wonderful 150+ mile solo ride through the gorgeous farmlands east and south of Atlanta. It was a beautiful day with lots of sunshine and strong winds. The temperature hit the low 40s, but the wind chill dropped that another 8 degrees. Of course, that doesn't count for what I call "bike chill", which is the additional 10 degree drop you experience at 75 mph! So, that's a good start to the New Year! I sincerely hope and wish for a healthy, joyous, and prosperous 2008 for all of my great friends on this forum, those I've met and those I haven't met yet! Terry
