I saw a new commercial for the Chevy Eco today: A guy drives up to a Chevy dealer in a new Toyota Camry and the dealer asks if he's "Ready to trade the ole girl in?" The drive replies that it's a brand new Camry and he just wanted to look at the new Chevy. When the owner gets out to look at the cars the salesman starts looking at the Camry and says there's no way this can be a new car. Antoher saleswoman steps up and asks "what are you looking for?" He replies " A cassette deck". I immediately thought about the Venture. (I had a 99 before the RSTD) Maybe if the other makers would call out our Venture Yammy might finally wake up!

On our trip to Australia, I think I found the assortment of cars the most interesting. Attached is a picture of a Holden Ute. Here in the states we call it an El Camino, or used to. ( note the Chevy bowtie ) Also attached is a picture of the Ford version, the Falcon, we used to call it the Ranchero

Found an old '49 Chevy pickup just wondering around on eBay and couldn't help but fall in love with it. Picked it up yesterday in Augusta Ga. and I am now visiting some friends in Raleigh NC. Heading out this morning for home. The truck was restored in the late '90s and still looks and drives real nice. It's old school with the old Chevy "Stovebolt Six" but has a late model 5 speed with an S-10 rear end and disk brakes. No power steering, no power brakes, no a/c and the radio don't work. So far I'm love'n it.

I hope you enjoy the fresh deer meat I layed on your front lawn at 7:00 am this morning. It's a nice big one well tenderized to. Please remove the pieces of my front bumper, turn signal, headlight, grille, and fender from it's A## before consumption. 2004 Chevy Silverado parts don't taste very good. I feel like taking out about 20 more. If I'm gonna turn in a insurance claim might as well do a good job. Here's to Road Hunting in the Chevy truck.

Guys - This year we want to go to the Grand Canyon in our Z71 and pull our Travel trailer. Problem is, I also want to take the Venture. The only way I see I can do it is by using this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Motorcycle-Trailer-Lift-Hauler-Carrier-Mighty-Hauler_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a1171Q7c66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1308Q7c301Q3a1Q7c293Q3a2Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem3ef4148b42QQitemZ270382959426QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht_1624wt_385 or one like it. I'm told by the mfg. that my hitch needs to be a class 4, I have a Chevy factory hitch and it's most likely a class 3. I don't mind buying a new hitch but was wondering if anybody here has had to deal with this situation. Thanks for any HELP

A neighbor just dropped off some fresh whitetail tenderloin. I can see it now deer steak surrounded by mashed potatoes and gravy. Don't forget a pan of mamamo's homeade bisquits. Nothing like a First gen,Deer steak,Apple pie, and Oh yea Chevy Pickup. A country boy can survive.Time to get the rifle out and check the zero. It's bow season now but gun season is less then a month away.
