Today went on a short ride to Tilleys HD in Salisbury NC The day was to honor serving members of the armed forces by sending care packages to those aboard. The weather report let us down called for rain so turn out was not as it should be but had fun any way BTW it didn't rain, ran into alot of old friends good food good music and a great bunch of people. and it was fitting due to what I have was a gift of Uncle Sam for my tour in southeast asia, probably my last ride of the season after a major surgery and all the tests in the world I am now healthy enough to start chemo (it will kick my butt) for stage 4 hodgekins lymphoma after being a smoker for 45 (quit day 44) years I did get the doctor to reconcider one of the drugs that was hard on the lungs, so we'll see what happen. For you so inclined I would apprieate a word in your daily prayers

I recently purchased a 97 RSTD. One of the first projects I want to tackle is replacing the mufflers that are installed and probably go back to the OEM mufflers. It appears that some aftermarket slip-on mufflers were installed and I am now trying to determine what brand of mufflers are installed on the bike; mainly to be able to sell them, or trade them for excellent condition OEM mufflers. Although the sound is very deep and powerful (and impresses most of my friends), it's a bit too loud for me, especially after Chemo affected my hearing, and I really don't want to tic off all the neighbors when I leave for work at 6 AM on the morning... So any ideas what brand/model these might be? Thanks in advance for any help!

I just got a call from Nancy Stills (Meandog's wife), they just found out her Daddy has advanced non cell lung cancer....She asked me to post up a request for prayers for her Daddy, Mama, and her family. I sure hope for their sake all goes well for him. They will be putting in a port for his chemo on Friday, and starting chemo. This family has been through so much already, with Mark. And the prayers from all of us helped them in knowing someone was there for them when they were at their weakest point. Nancy also said she regrets that she will be unable to go to the St. Jude's ride, and hopes we will understand. We for one will be keeping them all in our thoughts and prayers.
