What is muderball, you ask????? It is "WHEELCHAIR RUGBY" and it's played at international level. I watched Australia and Canada play (on T.V.) last night--and boy! what a game. The last quarter was real bash 'em, crash 'em. Wheels needed replacing on chairs, and players rolling their chairs...and that's while they are strapped into it! They have able-bodied people who run out and pick them up, or change their wheels. I think these were the same teams that went to the Beijing Para Olympics. Well done everyone :clap2:

No not the RSV, my daughter's barrel horse. He had been in the pasture for 5 days with a bit of a swollen leg. It was time to get back to training. Just like a kid, he did not want to. He was acting up with my daughter so I got on him. He usually staightens up for me becuase he knows I'll put the spurs in his sides. We were standing at the end of the areana, next to the cow chutes. There is a littleshelter/pavillion area we sit and watch or take a break out of the sun. There are also 3 patio chairs there. Trying to get the horse to go one more time, he did his usual, "I'll try to go the other way." When I pulled him back, he did 3 very fast spins, throwing me off on the 3rd. I swore it was only 1 spin. I landed partially on one of the chairs. Took me about 10 minutes to get my breath and all. Got back on the horse and ran him 2 laps to let him know he was not getting away with that behavior. THEN went to the ER. One broken rib. Hurts to breath. No riding this weekend.

What are the best folding chairs to strap on a bike? My wife and I like to ride to concerts or sporting events with our bike but the bag chairs, although they pack well, are not the best seat. What have other folks found are good chairs that pack well? Iowa Guy

Beth and I are home from MD, just one close call on the way back to the motel in Westlake Saturday night, damn cagers! The stebel air horn did it's job and kept us safe! Many, many thanks to Don and Eileen for being such gracious hosts. To ALL who worked tirelessly on the bikes, WOW! Words cannot do justice! We met an incredible number of people, friends, family.......it's great now to be able to put faces to names here on the site. Already wore my new T-shirt...and yes, the XL does fit! Garry and Mary, thanks so much for your hospitality, the shade, chairs, food and refreshments are all very much appreciated. Ian and Pat, looking forward to the six of us getting together for a barbeque and maybe planning something a little larger??? I'll post what pics we have later, I have to work midnites tonight, so it's off to bed for a bit before I go and pound salt.....again! There's always a bed and a garage with tools for the "family" that has adopted us! randy and beth:happy34:
