well here goes, i want to get back into camping and don't know which way to go. a pull behind camper would be nice, motels are probably cheaper but not as much fun minus the rain and a cargo trailer could be used for camping of for long road trips. if i go with the cargo trailer i don't know if I'm still able or willing to sleep on the ground. please give any info you can, thanks.

Hi all, I am currently looking an extended trip to eastern North America this summer and need either a pull behind or camper trailer. Still don't know which way to go but I found a cargo trailer on Ebay that looks good and I was hoping someone could give me some feedback on these trailers. It is a Liberty GL Motorcycle Trailer from America's best trailers. The link is below. Does anyone have this trailer or have had dealings with the company? Thanks, Tom http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fiberglass-Motorcycle-Trailers-Tow-Pull-Cargo-Behind-Harley-Goldwing-Bike-Etc-/170832291220?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27c665e594&vxp=mtr

I'm looking for a cargo trailer to haul my RSV in and just looking for some tips from people that have bought them. Things like "if I was to buy another one, I'd make sure it had..." I'd like it as light as possible, but also want something that's good quality as I plan on having it for a long time. Looks like Featherlight, Wells Cargo, and USCargo are out there...not sure which others. I'm sure I'll get flamed from people saying I should just ride the bike. But there are times when it'd be nice to haul the bike from ND to the south and then explore from there (like January when it's -30 degf)!

Hey folks- I purchased a roof cargo box from a gentleman today. It is near I30 and Beltline in Garland, Texas. I would like to impose on someone to pick it up and store it for me for a couple weeks. It is 55" by 35" by 15" tall. It weighs about 60 lbs. I am not in a particular hurry on this. It is going to be the basis for a cargo trailer. I am sending him a check tomorrow for a deposit. Once I figure out how to get it to San Antonio, I will send him the balance. Thanks for looking JB

Its a small amount, (they say) and it arrived in the cargo area of the airliner, but is this what we will be seeing more of, and soon? http://dfw.cbslocal.com/2011/03/17/low-level-radiation-detected-on-incoming-dfw-flight/ http://cbsdallas.files.wordpress.com/2011/03/radioactive-japan_1103848.jpg?w=420

Hi all. I am looking at getting a trailer to pull behind my scoot. Not sure if I should build or buy. If I build, I am sure I can get a couple of friends to do the welding for me at the school where I work. Should it be aluminum tubing? I would think it's better for weight but would it hold on the road? Then put a car top cargo on it again for weight. To buy, not sure where to look for a good price and quality at the same time. Any ideas are welcome. If you have a plan of how to build one I would certainly appreciate it. thanks

I was wondering if anyone has tried these? They are leather cargo pockets that attach to the front of the saddlebag rails? http://saddlebagsbytalisman.com

I have seen trailers at rallies that resemble 57 chev's, corvettes and 65 mustangs. These were built to be pulled behind motorcycles, they look like cars on trailers, are made of fiberglass, and they open up and are cargo trailers. I seem to remeber them being made in Louisianna but not 100% sure of that. Anyone know anything about them?

Ok I need Help I'm looking for a cargo trailer to pull behind my '07 venture there are so many out there I don't know where to start. Will be using it mostly for hauling groceries and camping gear. Can anyone recommend a good inexpensive one and give me an idea of what hitch and wiring I need. I'm so confused!

I found a site that offers a trailer kit with 12" wheels and leaf spring suspension for $650. This price includes shipping to my home. This kit does not include the cargo box butg does have a swivel hitch. I priced the cargo box at sears for $189. This site also offers the same kit with torsion suspension for $850. My question is this---is the torsion suspension worth the $200 difference?

I wanted a cargo carrier for a cooler and a bag rather than purchasing a trailer. Rivco makes a nice cargo carrier, 2 sizes, but rather pricey. Since I already had a Hitch Doc hitch on the bike, and no trailer, I had removed the hitch part, leaving two places for a 5/8" rod to fit in. Hmmm, I thought, How about making my own cargo tray? Had a guy weld up a tray out of stainless steel, drilled 1/4" holes in each corner to drain out water, several 1/4" holes around the lip. Welded some angle iron on the bottom for stability, and two pieces of 5/8" rod, drilled 1/4" holes to bolt it on where the hitch part was bolted on - and wallah - it worked just fine! Hope the pics come out OK.
