number. Yep, the one ticket that I bought had the number 6 as the powerball number, which matched. Therefore, I doubled my investment!!!! :cool10: So, when I cash in my ticket I will get $4 back on my $2 investment. I just have to be careful that I don't make a special trip and spend $2 on gas to cash it in. RandyA

A photog friend has a few GoPro's etc. so we filmed this little video in honour of a passed friend, his favourite run. Around the 3:00 mark, if you look real careful, you can make out the Port Colborne Optical Illusion, whereby the factory in the distance gets smaller as you get closer. http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/photo.php?v=437896996268684

Caution - - this is a very disturbing video of a vehicle that lost control on what looks to be a slippery 4-lane road and got clocked by an on-coming 18-wheeler. Not sure why this driver lost control (were they texting or impaired in some way? Who knows....), but regardless, I'm posting it to keep us all aware that you just can't be too careful. The only thing that gives any solace to this is that the folks in the SUV never knew what hit them. It's a total explosion. Please be safe out there! http://rmirror.net/r/videos/comments/q5hu9/car_accident_nsfl/

I was just online checking my account and there are 3 $1 hits for AOL, IMBd and Experian. I don't have AOL, I can get credit scores free and IMBd is an online movie database that I don't use. So I am getting my debit card shut down. I thought I was pretty careful w/ my debit card but apparently not enough. I do know of individuals no matter how careful you are the card # is stolen. Now off to check my credit cards just in case.

My Sweetie was pressuring me to go get a full physical and in a moment of weakness (my kids think it was forgetfulness due to my age) I agreed. Of course she made me promise to do what ever the doctor said I had to do (I think she knew what was coming and damned if she didn't keep a straight face about it ) and after some strong arm bending and bribery I promised. Well that doc did the blood test thing and the rubber glove deal and the heart monitor test (and a few others I think he probably made up off the top of his head ) and told me I was looking fairly good. Well I thought that was pretty good and was ready to leave quite content when he said there was one more test he wanted to do (and he smiled , or it might have been more of a gleeful smirk , as he said it). Yep, he was sending me off to get the boroscope thingy done (aka colonoscopy ). So now I am preparing for this deal. I made a check list and have gone through it. Lets see, pill taken? Check. Drink mixed up? Check. Two rolls of TP available? Check. Clear path to bathroom? Check. Okay it looks like I am ready to go (no pun intended). Any way you can bet that I will be a lot more careful about what I let my Sweetie talk me in to in the future and twice as careful about what I will promise her. I will say this though, she has been quite good about no making wise cracks about it , well at least not to much, but that particular grin she has is kinda of giving her away.

As we are getting ready to go into what is a three day weekend for some of us( I get Good Friday off), along with the temperatures looking at being in the mid to lower 80's for Friday and Saturday, I know there are going to be a bunch of us out there. I know that for me, this is the weekend that I have been living for after the most miserable winter I can remember in a long time. The really sad part about this is it is almost like clockwork in our area, there will be a motorcycle related incident. It will either be a cage/bike, an inexperenced new rider, someone pushing it too hard for the conditions or alcohol related. This will be especially true for a weekend like this. So, I am saying this to me, just like the rest of you, be careful out there. RandyA

8 inches of snow turning to ice as the temp last night was 9 degrees but that's all right I got a 4x4x with new tires right? Wrong! 4x4 went out so now it is only two wheel but that's all right as long as I'm careful then everything else is good...WRONG!!! the heater blower quit. I might as well ride the BIKE!!! NO MO Winter!!! please:225:

It says he was riding a Yamaha cruiser and someone turned left in front of him Be careful out there, they ARE out to get you!!!

Wife and I were out last weekend going on a round trip ride of about 100 miles. We were at a red light at an intersection near our place shortly after leaving the house. The light turned green and I started out to make a left turn. I noticed a car coming from the left on the crossing street and figured it would stop. Luckily I kept my eye on the car as it went through the red light and intersection at about 40 mph (speed limit is 35). I hit the brakes; my wife who didn't see the car, slid forward and our helmets hit. We came to a stop about 20 feet from where we would have been clobbered. The driver appeared to be an old man who must have been startled when he saw me start out as he was looking up at the light as he went through to see what color it was. We did our trip, but I was much more careful at interesctions than I normally am, and I am normally pretty careful. Too bad no cops around then. Not all elderly drivers are bad drivers, but there are a lot of people on the road who shouldn't be there anymore. We were lucky that day. Be careful out there!!!

For many of us, this is going to be the first nice weekend without rain in a long time. And, alot of us are planning on getting some therapy riding in. So, let's all do our best to be real attentive to all the debris, cages, animals and anything else that can get us hurt. Let's be careful out there this weekend and good luck everyone. RandyA

Have had 5 bike deaths in last 2 weeks in my area. let's be careful out there, mostly all biker at fault. We all to be extra careful on the roads, everyone knows what we endure mixing it up with cagers on the roads. So not all of them give us the extra room we can use, leave the showing off to the pros that get paid for it. There is no where that we need to be that we take chances to cut a cage off to get to where we're going faster. Enough said.

I took Peg to the doctor last Wednesday due to a pinched nerve in her back, there were so many people there sneezing & hacking so much I tried to keep Peg from catching something instead I catch walking Pneumonia over the deal:sick: so I'm out until next week sure do miss riding the bike and hate being stuck in the house too, never thought I would get tired of watching TV. O well just wanted to say be careful everybody due to the fact that so many people are coming down sick this year. And the Medicine I'm taking is some strong stuff too. After 15-20min I'm ready to float away. buddy
