well here goes, i want to get back into camping and don't know which way to go. a pull behind camper would be nice, motels are probably cheaper but not as much fun minus the rain and a cargo trailer could be used for camping of for long road trips. if i go with the cargo trailer i don't know if I'm still able or willing to sleep on the ground. please give any info you can, thanks.

I am just throwing this out there. My clutch seems to be slipping just a little bit. Now it is too late for ordering and replacing at this stage before we begin our journey east. I was wondering if I somehow got a hold of one if I could get it changed out at the International and would there be anyone willing to help? Can this be done there? I do pull a camper so I expect that if its slipping a little now it may become alot worse by the time our trip is done. Feed back is greatly appreciated!

After going on a 200 mile+ ride on the ST1300 last weekend the wife could barely climb off the bike. She was in pain for 2 days after. I showed her a pic of this bike that a local dealer had on ebay and she said "get it....now!" so I did. Another RSV was not an option since I won't put her on a non ABS bike since I totaled the '07. Hope yall like it! ps Mama is now a happy camper and you know what they say about that!

I am going to start here and then go to the rally section. During our ride Tuesday, Lady Linda and I started talking about a little vacation get together this summer. We have thrown out a couple of suggestions about Asheville and have gotten some response. At this moment, I am thinking about taking the week of June 4th thru 12th and taking the little camper and spending the first part of that week maybe camping at several different campsites. Then about Wednesday or Thursday, pulling into Asheville. Rather than trying to put together any kind of rally, since this is the year for Vogal, I am just thinking that I may just say we are planning on being there for some camping and riding and if anyone wants to join us, come on down. This is really not much different than usual, as Asheville has always been a pretty low key event, but I would like to see if there is any interest. The main thing is, if we load up the little camper, we will have to pack as light for camping as possible. If we are going to spend the last part of the week at Asheville, and we have some interest in others joining us, then I will set the camper and make a trip across the mountain back to Johnson City to bring all the extra stuff, like the big canopy, bunches of chairs and all that other stuff that we can't seem to do without. Anyway, got to go for now and we will see what others are interersted in. Thanks, RandyA

I have a three room tent with the center with mesh walls and the two side rooms that can be closed up. I also have a spare full size air mattress. I am going to have my small camper for me, but if anyone would like for me to bring any of this, I will be glad to let anyone use it. RandyA

I have found a good camper trailer to pull behind my bike but the trailer weighs a little over 500 lbs loaded and I can get it for a good price. My Question is: is this too heavy to pull behind a 1200 cc motorcycle. Has anyone pulled this heavy of a trailer before? Is it safe????

We are looking at buying a '96 model Time Out trailer. It does not have the A/C opening, but otherwise appears to be the full sized model, not the Easy Camper. Does anyone have any knowledge / recommendations / warnings around these models? Thanks! Don

We are just about out the door. Going to Port Washington Wis. to pick up our new Rolla-Home camper. Stopping tonight in Mpl. Going to hook up with a old bird for breaky and then off to Wis. Sunday. Moving into Red1's place for a couple of years then finding someone else to scrounge from. Grandpagak is next then home for some riding as the weather should have melted the rest of the snow. Black Envoy towing black little camper should be quit a sight!

Quickstep is taking some well-earned holidays from work and we have decided to pack our camper trailer, hitch it to the car (usually the bike) and head down south to Albany for the Ulysses Club AGM and rally. There will be over 3,000 members going -- that's a lot of bikes. So... Annie camping out with metal fixator on her leg :yikes: Can't climb up into the camper bed, so have borrowed a folder bed. I'll have to bunk down out in the annex, while Alan has the comfy air-mattress :bawling:just hope the weather is kind to us ?? Will be leaving on Saturday 27th Feb, and coming home on the 17th March. Scary....but won't know if I don't give it a go!!!!

This camper is for sale around the corner from me. We set it up halfa** so you could see it. He said it was a timeout, but I don't think it is. He doe's not know what yr. it is but has a video about it and the set up instructions. The first time I looked at it he said to make him an offer. This time he said $700.00. It does need some TLC but seems to be in good shape. There is a small hole in both door flaps that could be easily fixed. All the zippers are in good shape as well as the netting. He said it doesn't leak, but don't know when he used it last, the canvas looks and feels good, doesn't seem to be rotten or anything. Under the wood floor is storage and you can put a pole in the wood to use it as a table inside the camper. You use an air mattress to sleep on. If anyone is interested I have his phone numbers. http://s608.photobucket.com/albums/tt166/ventureroyale/camper/ Camper sold ---- to Tupperj

Robbie wants to thank everyone who ask about her tonight. She really wanted to be there at the HUB dinner. She just felt it would be better to rest longer. As she said it is easier to move in the camper right now. Thanks again.

I have been considering buying a camper. I ride a 2006 RSV. I have been looking at the Timeout Campers and really like what I see. Especially the largest one that comes with the air mattress, table and chair. Since I have never pulled trailers with a bike, I was needing to know if the Timeout Camper would be too heavy or if it would be ok for my Venture. Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
