Listed the 09 RSV for sale. Something more important then a bike has come up. Priorities indicate bike has to go bye bye. It stinks, but family always comes first. Never got to ride it yet really. I think I put maybe 50 miles on it . Ooh well. When things straighten out Ill just get another one. As I said Family first........always and above anything else.

Ok..now my rear shock has went BYE BYE! That's Texan for IT'S FUBARED. Noticed handling was not quite normal...looked under there, and voila..oil dripping off the shock. 21,444 miles. Took it into a dealer..they are supposed to be ordering me a new one...wonder how long this will take? My trip to Sturgis is about 7 weeks from now as I write this..(June 13th). I will have a little story to tell about this one I'm sure, but waiting till I get the new shock on before I will tell those stories...you never know who might read this and show it to those guys. SO, not mentioning names or details...yet. Stay tuned.

Hopefully there will be a new member to join soon. I just sold my 88:crying: (without coffin trailer) Told the fella about this site and he promised to join up. Says he just sold his HD and was looking for something cheaper and reliable. Wonder what he meant by that? :whistling:Now, what am I gonna do? Paint trailer to match GW; look for another gen 1; sell trailer; to much of a decision to make now.

I have noticed that when I check my tire pressure on the RSV, Brickstones, that it is different by two-five pounds by time of day. My bike sits under my covered carport, on concrete, and if I check it when it is cool outside (morning) it is dead on ( 36 front-41 rear) If I check it in the mid day or afternoon when the temp is higher then it will rise by anywhere from two to five pounds depending on how hot it is outside. So my question is this, is it ok to regulate the pressure by the "expanded" (afternoon) tire pressure/temp or try to always take the pressure in the am when the tires are cold? On a side note the Brickstones are going bye bye. my new AVON's are getting put on tomorrow. Thanks to a $400.00 screw I will have a new set of tires at 5000 miles.

If I leave here tomorrow Would you still remember me? For I must be travelling on, now, 'Cause there's too many places I've got to see. But, if I stayed here with you, girl, Things just couldn't be the same. 'Cause I'm as free as a bird now, And this bird you can not change. Lord knows, I can't change. Bye, bye, its been a sweet love. Though this feeling I can't change. But please don't take it badly, 'Cause Lord knows I'm to blame. But, if I stayed here with you girl, Things just couldn't be the same. Cause I'm as free as a bird now, And this bird you'll never change. And this bird you can not change. Lord knows, I can't change. Lord help me, I can't change. Lynyrd Skynyrd
