Shipped my Road Glide seat off to Rick Butler this morning. I have put some miles on it and was pleasantly surprised with it for a stock seat. I've done a Saddle Sore and a Bun Burner on it so I know that I can do a thousand mile day on it with no major problems. There is still room for improvement though so I figured that with the snow on the ground, it was a great time to let him work his magic.

I know this is not bike related BUT.... I am wondering if there are any RV techs out there. I have a Suburban NT-30sp furnace in my RV and am having troubles with it. I have ruled out propane supply as I can run my water heater, 3 burner stove and oven at the same time. When i request heat the blower motor will start running, (sounds and feels quite strong), I can hear the ignitor click than a thud from the solenoid, than the burner lights and will burn for maybe about 5 seconds and than the burner will go out. It will repeat this 2 more times than the furnace fan will shut off after a couple minutes. Can anyone help me out on this one? Rob

Hey All was just wondering, for years now I've wanted to do a Butt Burner 1500 (for thoses who dont know http://www.ironbutt.com/ridecerts/getdocument.cfm?DocID=1) But never to seem to have had the right bike for it. Couple years back when I got my 86 it had sat for almost 7 years so after about 2 grand of work I did get it running well and had really thought about doing one, then the stater went so I rebuilt it, then the shock went to poop so I replaced that and kinda figured it just wasnt a smart plan. Now last year I sold my baby *snif*snif* and got my wife#2 05 midnight so I think this is it lol. After all my ramblings I am looking to see if anyone would be interested in riding along. The wife isnt looking for 1500 milles in 36 hours so I am flying solo. Would be leaving from Traverse City area heading up over the mighty mac and heading west towards South Dakota (750 miles out) then turn and head back, not much of a party'er lol looking to run pretty hard maybe finish the day with a good meal and beer but think it should be a blast thinking Juneish but am kinda open so if you may wanna run a butt burner lol let me know!!

Really I do! I can't think of a #@^* thing I would rather be doing then working on the furnace at 1:00 AM in the morning. It did not act like a bad thermocouple. The pilot light would stay on and light the burner one time. After the burner shut off it blew the pilot out. I noticed the pilot was low but the pilot adj would not increase gas flow. So for the second time tonight I removed the gas valve and burner assembly. I cleaned the pilot orfice and adjusted the thermocouple position. Just got it back together and fired it up. It's coffee break time while I wait and see. That old furnace is 30 years old. I hate to replace it. It runs like a first gen just needs some tlc once in a while.
