OK I need a car. Tarus is rusting from bottom up. In another year it will be Ugly. Runs great but body is junk. I have found two cars. Retirement check won't go for new one. What I found is; 99 Buick Century only 23k for $6000. Most of the goodies on this one and Buicks are hard to beat for dependabilty. Not sure what size V-6 in this one but they do around 25 MPG from what I know about them. Was going to go for this one because of milage then this caught my eye. 99 Chrysler Concord LXI with 45K. Loaded. Has more goodies than the Buick and I think looks better Warden don't agree. Both have great looking bodies. I don't know much about Chysler dependabilty these days (ran them in 60's when they were Muscle Cars) What kind of MPG could I expect with this one and will it last for a while. I think both of these are real low miles for the year and could last me for a while. WHICH ONE?? http://www.autotrader.com/dealers/inview/detail.jsp?ct=u&car_id=290785851&dealer_id=57764155&car_year=1999&dealership_view_name=kevinsautosaleswva&address=25113&sort_type=make_modelASC&cardist=5737 http://www.autotrader.com/dealers/inview/detail.jsp?ct=u&car_id=290635226&dealer_id=57764155&car_year=1999&dealership_view_name=kevinsautosaleswva&address=25113&sort_type=make_modelASC&cardist=5737 One more question. The Tarus is loaded and runs great. Just looking at the body has me fed up with it and it has developed a shimmy at higher speeds lately. It is a 02. What is it worth as trade-in.

My friend wrote me this morning and said he just bought a new Buick and that he must be getting old. I have a Buick Park Avenue! I told him the following,,,,,Life "begins" with a Buick! Your now authorized to drive in the left lane at 50mph with your right turn signal on, attempt to parallel park by nosing in. Once in, you may now do a 5 minute "bumper bump" to assure equal distance front and rear. You may also drive two lane state Hwy's at 45mph oblivious to the 26 cars in your rearview mirror. You may now shop at Pamida ,, park any way you like, even sideways! You may leave your lights on, (auto shut off) while in innocent awe your horn blasts repeatedly, you fumble with your key fob then drive off with your trunk open! You may practice double parking at the drug store and café while ignoring even semi air horn blasts!.... All this in preparation for a Caddy! Oh yes,,,,,,Caddy's come with optional handicap stickers that can be displayed in non-handicap parking zones!,,,, Imagine the FREEDOM! As an added plus, the owners manual comes in LARGE PRINT! Renne,,,

I have a old 93 Buick that has been one of the best all-round cars I have ever owned. I got this thing with 30k on it and it now has 210k on it. 3300 engine doesn't use oil. Have done a lot of work to it but question is. I found a Buick with a 3100 engine and the car looks like it left the showroom about last year. It is a 96. Only 38k. I would buy this old thing for a driver but have heard a lot about intake gaskets in the 3100's?? The 3300 as far as the engine can't be beat.

The Mass air flow sensor on my work car, (93 Buick Century with 191k) Crapped out. $400. I ain't putting that in it if I don't have to. What do these things do? Unplugged it and it runs better than it did. Check Eng light on but runs geat. Will it hurt anything without it?? What does it do?? Old Buick is great old car uses no oil and runs good. Hate to part with it.
