My VR is the first bike that I have ever owned that has sound and intercom capabilities. How do you go about getting sound and a mike in to your helmet? I use a 3/4 helmet and my wife is currently using a 1/2 but she may be switching to a full. I have no experience here. I can see ear buds working but what about the mike? I see that Ebay has many different types of headsets available but I dont know what is good or bad. What would you do? Ray

I have a 2008 RSV. There is a local guy selling Screamimg Eagle Mufflers off a 2008 HD Dyna Superglide in like new condition for $100.00 bucks. I would sure like a louder set of pipes to put on when I ride with my HD Buds. Does anyone know if these will slip on without any mods? Thanks. Steve

Anyone make one? What I would like to do is plug in an adapter to my 5 pin "pentagon" shaped pigtail for my headset and then plug in a 1/8 inch male stereo jack. This way I could use the speakers in my Arai full face helmet on any bike... any thoughts? When I ride the 650 Vstar I use the same helmet and I'm having clearance issues if I use ear buds

Any suggestion to boost ipod volumne on ear buds/RSTD/No Shield
Guest posted a topic in Watering Hole
I really want to hear Santana/Dave Clark Five/ Conway/Ten Years on my ipod/ear buds heading down the highway doin what a Royal Star does best. I wear a half helment with no front shield so the wind tends to drown out the high and lows. Any suggestion to get that music inside my head. Are there rheostats etc to increase ear bud volume. Ipod volume setting on these Sony ear buds ($85) is a joke when on the road. Thanks Max -

I have a 83 venture that I'm fixing up. It has no radio. Has anyone tried putting a splitter on a MP3 player so the driver and passenger can listen to the same MP3 player with ear buds? Will it be load enough to hear or does it really need a amp? Thanks in advance. Jeff
