Over the years there have been a number of thread by folks regarding issues with their Web browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome, etc etc) ... I don't think I've even once seen anyone post anything about Maxthon ... except myself. This leads me to wonder ... does anyone else on here use this web browser or am I the only one? http://www.maxthon.com/mx3/?v=3.3.1.2000 I have been using this browser since it first came out back in the late 90's. Then it was called MyIE. Of all the others I have tried and worked with, I always come back to Maxthon. It has some really great features and some of those features which are now available in IE, FireFox, etc were in Maxthon long before. Maxthon uses the same rendering engine that IE uses (Trident). If you haven't taken a look at it yet, check it out ... you might just find it a good (or maybe even great) alternative to what you are now using, especially if you've been having issues.

Has anyone tried these pads listed on ebay ? I got my desktop up and running after problems. I am running win 2000 pro. Does any one know of a good browser that will work? I use the laptop most but the power cord broke. Thanks Rod

Usually i can figure out how to fix a problem but this time im stuck. Ive got some kind of malware or something on my puter that redirects my browser. If i search for something and try to go to it my browser ends up going somewhere else.....sometimes when i click back it will then go to where it was sposed to, sometimes it wont.....this is getting extremely frustrating.... sometimes in the address bar i see "abcjump" when its doing this..other times i dont... I have done searches on how to fix or get rid of this and im not getting anywhere.......add to that it redirects me whne im searching also... I have adaware, spybot search and destroy and avg running on my puter.....i also tried to restore my system ( xp) to an earlier date and it wont do it......arrrrrrr anyone have any ideas or help to offer? I have been using IE because foxfire was giving me probs a while back and I deleted it.....I also have avant browser and it seems to be infected also...

\ Ok here is the story. My neighbor across the road who is a retired Gunny Sgt up in his mid 70s. Is always screwing with his computer changing things he knows nothing about then calls me up to come see whats wrong with his computer its not working right. Most cases I can fix it but this time Im stumped. What the problem is is no sound once you open the browser. I checked everything in internet options and it is all enabled. Sound works fine when browser is not open. So anyone have any Ideas where too look.\ thanks John

My Firefox browser worked fine this morning. Now all I get on ventureriders site is minature text when viewing. It still works great on every other site. My IE browser works fine on ventureriders?????:think: I'll check from home later I'm at the office on lunch break.

I have hundreds of bookmarks, and a lot of them are not visited for a years, but I don't want to toss them.. When I first started 'using', Netscape was my browser of choice, and it had a neat feature in the bookmark area. By clicking on the feature the browser would go thru the intire bookmark area and ping every bookmark and then mark all those websites that no longer responded for whatever reason. You could then go thru the list and delete those items that were marked. It was a great way to keep the bookmark file cleaned out. IE does not have that feature, and the bookmarks are piling up. Anyone know of an IE plugin validation tool that would work? I don't have the time or energy to click on each and every website listed.
