I'm in need of a new windshield and was wondering if those of you with the Baggershield could tell me ... is there any kind of breeze or ventilation coming through the joint where the two parts meet? I was thinking of going with a wider Clearview with the vent to get that extra bit of a breeze when the temps hit around 32 C. (90 F) - like today for instance. From what I've read here, my wife may get a break from some of the buffeting with the wider shield, but that extra breeze would be nice in the heat. Yeah, I know, I'm getting old and wimpy but hey - we've paid our dues - now we deserve a little comfort. Anyway, with the sale on at Baggershield, that shield looks a bit more interesting to me now. Did the photo shoot today for the Bagger Shield and I got my new windshield! Looks great, nice breeze with it down. Haven't ridden enough yet with it up to make any comments. Here's the pic......

Ok folks I have a laundry list of things I want to do to my 89 VR but can't seem to find a consolidated list of vendors so I figured I would come here and seek out the experts. Here is an abreviated list of what I want to do: 1. Convert oil filter from cartridge to spin-on so I need a good source for the oil filter adapter. 2. Install highway pegs so I can get a breeze up the old pant legs; with the VR having a 7/8" tube I am struggling to find something that works. 3. Delete the stock exhaust collector so I can run a wide range of mufflers. -
Ok, calling all western New Yorkers. We are gonna ride this Sunday to Point Breeze for lunch. We will be leaving the Flying J truck stop at 11 am. About an hour and 20 minutes to Point Breeze from the truck stop at the Pembroke/Corfu exit off the thruway(rt. 90). We will be stooping for ICE CREAM on the return trip of course...So all you newbies who keep telling me to let you know when we are planning to ride consider this your invitation to join us.......

Has anyone used the Barrons 1 1/2 " risers ? The reason Im asking is, they fit my short self well ......BUT ! It streches my throttle cable to the max. Is this the case or is their something I can do to adjust the cables or am I looking for longer cables? I really dont want to take the risers off because they really help me with they handling and control of the bike. 2008 RSV. Thanks "it is what it is" Breeze

I PM'd Bill last night to see if we could mess with my bike some. He had some free time this morning so I took a putt over there. We (well he as all I did was watch) removed the AIS and then tightened the steering head bearings. The good news is no more cannon-like backfires and I actually have better handling now. It appears that the bearings were pretty loose, but it was a breeze to tighten them up. No more front end shimmy in turns . So, thanks again Bill, I appreciate all the help. That's what this site is all about. Helping each other out. What a great bunch.

How do I place images on the Right Hand Side where the "Join Date" & "location" appears. I notice other members have their country and state flags blowing in the breeze. My seems to have a static Australian Flag however I notice a flapping one is available under Avitars. How do I get it on the right hand side.
