Cant believe my luck.....temps are going to be in the 70's the next couple of days and what do I do....volunteer to host 12 cub scouts and their parents at an archery camp...........gonna be camping with the scouts at my archery club. The club is having a primative shoot this weekend. no compounds, no recurves, or long bows. Just handmade self bows and arrows.........everyone will be in costume and have to walk into the campsites....ALL cooking over wood campfires... I think I got snookered into doing this.....oh well, its only for a couple of days....gonna book out early sunday...my only question is....how do I sneak hot dogs into this place?..............not into pioneer bread and jerky....wonder if they had DAIRY QUEENS in the 1700'S?.....Oh well wish me luck...Did you ever see a 9 year shoot a bow?...hope I come back intact....lol.........What did they mean by no tents...?just oilcloth...........and why do we have to be searched for anything not period?..........when were sleepings invented? around 1675........right?....Have a funny feeling I have been set up...............again.

I am currently shooting an Oneida Aeroforce. I fell in love with the Oneida because of the smooth pull through the entire draw because of my shoulder problems. The problem with the Oneida is the weight of the bow, and also the size of it...it is a long bow compared to many others. Makes it difficult to hunt with this bow from a ground blind because most ground blinds are not tall enough. As a result I am looking into different brands of bows and have come across one make called "Concept Archery", which makes a nice looking shorter and lighter bow, and they advertise 99% let off. I would welcome suggestions of any other makes of bows keeping in mind my biggest issue is that I need a smooth draw throughout the draw...I can't pull over the hump that many of the bows have. Thanks for the input.

I'm building the sleigh, onto of my Matrix Cargo Trailer, for the 21st annual Ft. Lauderdale "Toys for Tots" ride This just the frame & Skin. I'm rapping it in plastic, to protect it form rain, Then covering it over with Fabric, Bows & Garland. I'm also installing skies (Runnins) after I check the height off the bike. and battery opt. lights
