Sure would appreciate it, if someone out there has the right rear exhaust heat shield or header for the quad exhaust found on the RS Boulevard. Mine took a short leap of a long bridge. New to the site and new to the RS. I have about one year with a 1999 Royal Star Boulevard originally with 5k miles and got it for $4k. Haus, lives outside under a cover and is my daily driver. I know the mufflers aren't stock but the headers are. The heat shield fell off on the Peterson Poker Run to Key West last month, made a nice shiny chromy splash. I would rather save the $300 the stealers are charging for an oem replacement. file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/andraded/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot.pngfile:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/andraded/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot-1.png

What Model RSTD do I have?
ToyOdie posted a topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
Hi guys, this my first post but I have been using your site to help me find an RSTD to buy. Well on Feb 28th I found a deal to good to pass up and took the plunge. I found a 1996 Royal Star but I'm not sure if it is a Tour Deluxe or a Boulevard. The maintenance manual I found online told me to look under the seat for an ID plate. There isn't one. So how do I know what model it is? -
Last night, on my way home from work, a young lady on a cell phone pulled out beside me and sideswiped my 89 Royale. Fortunately the gear all worked flawlessly and I got away with some aches and pains. Here is the part I want to share with you all: I was on a boulevard (center divider) with 2 lanes both directions. I was in the left lane and the young lady was coming from the left on a merge across the boulevard. She was at a stop sign, lost, on the cell phone trying to get directions and decided to go just as I came beside her. We were the only cars in the vicinity. Now, why would I be in the left lane with a car merging from the left with the right lane wide open? Because I was distracted. My head was elsewhere. Now, she shouldn't have pulled out into me like that but if I'd been in the right lane (where a smart biker would have been in that situation) this wreck would not have happened. I wouldn't have the bruises, the Venture wouldn't be significantly damaged and the young lady's prom night would not have been spoiled. I hope I never forget the lesson and I wanted to post it to remind all my friends here to stay sharp!

Royal Star Boulevard Aftermarket Exhaust
Guest posted a topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
I am a happy and proud owner of either a Royal Star Boulevard or Royal Star Tour Classic with four (4) exhaust headers and mufflers. I am living in Thailand where big bikes are taboo, but here as a gray market offering, most bikes coming from Japan. The serial numbers are removed and restamped by the Thailand Department of Revenue so I am not sure of the year, but I did own a 2000 Royal Star Boulevard in the US that I purchased new. I want to install some aftermarket slip-on mufflers but am not having any luck finding pipes due to the age of the bike. Any help would be appreciated. -
Early bulletin from Honda on the 2009 Models: http://powersports.honda.com/motorcycles/touring_sport_touring/model.asp?ModelName=2009+Gold+Wing+Audio%2FComfort%2FNavi%2FXM&ModelYear=2009&ModelId=GL18HPNM9 See if you can tell by looking at the link what they added to the 2009 Goldwing. Other new news from Honda – the DN01 (Cool looking Automatic bike) is coming to the US. That’s about it (besides a few new dirt bikes – fuel injected). Honda’s official announcement is next week. Also – the new Suzuki’s are out. There is a new Boulevard M90 and a smaller Boulevard M50 (Black and Limited models as well) and new colors. The GXR1000 has been redone and there is a new standard model called the Gladius. Stuart
