    Group of friend and myself are headed to Boone , NC today, be there about 1200 maybe 1230 we're goning to eat at the Danial Boone Inn. If anyone would like to show up and join us for a meal You are invited, This is our first "big Ride" of the season looking forward to riding w/ the the wife on the sportser she bought last fall.

    Took a little ride in the car around Boone, NC yesterday and a little on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I couldn't go too far on the BRP as it was closed in about 5 miles in the direction I was going. It is amazing the clarity of the air in that area compared to summer time. RandyA

    I am heading up into northern Kentucky in a couple of weeks. I plan on connecting with I-75 at Corbin, KY via the Daniel Boone Trail/Cumberland Parkway. Has anyone rode this section(s) of road lately and are there any tolls? Appreciate any information!

    Riding over to Roanoke on the 18th. Will spend the night in that area getting ready to ride south on the parkway. Hope to take in Mount Airy and ride the police car, stop by Boone Nc to visit our son, who is a Army Recruiter in Boone. Have been wanting to do this ride for a few years now.
