Took a ride up the 'pig trail' today to check things out before it gets packed for the weekend. Saturday the 21st there is a Poker run starting at dealer Moto400 Dawsonville, and ending up at R-Ranch about 10 miles north of Dahlonega. There is going to be a Blues fest at R-Ranch Saturday PM. http://georgiabluesfest.com/pdf/poker_run_flyer.pdf http://georgiabluesfest.com/ Part of the entry fee goes to American Cancer Society. There is a BBQ cookoff at the end point. Blues legends Johnny Winter and James Cotton are the headliners. Atlantadragonslayer and I will meet at Moto400 at 7:45am. Joins us for a fun day of riding, food and music.

I am thinking of driving my car down to the southwestern us around Feb 1st. I would then rent a motorcycle and tour where ever I can ride. Can anyone give me some suggestions. I need to stay out of the mountain passes I would imagine. Phoenix to LA and back ? I just need to get away from snow!!!!!!
