Phil's trike is being delivered tonight. In fact it's in town already, just waiting for him to get off work and pick it up. It's been a long time coming to get to tonight - he started this process back in August. I bet he'll be out learning how to drive his trike tomorrow instead of watching parades and football.

Bet they were not expecting this

The main features I want are the navigation and the MP3 player. Is the 550 my best bet? I really don't think I will use features like loading in trips, etc.

How many 1st genners out there that think their bike is faster than a 2nd gen has actually ridden a 2nd gen?I would be willing to bet 90% has not.I have both so I can talk the talk and walk the walk.
-
This is one of many reasons I ride a venture. I'm sure we've all noticed post that are "Venture Sightings" and I like them. Yea we talk about we wish Yamaha would do more to promote the Venture and update it and there is alot of validity to those comments but at the same time, if they were as common as HD & GW I probably wouldn't be riding one. That's just my style. I'll bet you don't see post on the HD & GW sites of ____ Sighting! Throw that in with the other compliments that I find about my Venture and I like my bike even more. No bashing here, just an observation.

like a puddle of rusty water surrounding the base of your water heater with no obvious drips from the pipes, pressure relief valve, or the drain. I bet ya'll can guess what I will be doing tomorrow...

Does the venture 1300 have a vmax engine? need to settle a bet

The New V-4 VFR1200F Sound like a 1st Gen?? Looks a lot like one too. Got to be some way to stick some bags on it!!! I'll bet "Ugly" can't stay close to it. But not to much info on it yet. Could be very interesting!!

Ok all you old timers can you name this bike? It is quite possible that I was just offered one of these for $35.00 It was running when the guy bought it but there was a part missing from the carb. He doesn't have the time or inclination to mess with it. To be honest I only saw it once and I remembered what he called it so I was able to find this pic. It was funny how it came about. Let's say he collects things. Some would say he is a pack rat. He has 6 shipping containers and a 40 x 60 metal building stacked and packed with stuff he has "Collected" I commented on his collection and he said name it and I bet I have it. I said "Moped" and he said yep right there and sure enough 10 feet inside the door we were by stood a bike like this one. I was talking to him today and out of the blue he offered it to me for what he paid for it. I said how much and he said $35 bucks. Any guesses?

The serendipity house still stands. You can rent her out for $1700 a week. Best ocean view on the outerbanks. The underhouse parking is not what it use to be. Take a look before the web cam moves position. I bet a Noreaster wil take her out soon.Richard Greer crew filmed part of the Nights Of Rodanthe from her. http://www.darenc.com/webcam/mirlo.php

Anybody know the part number of the indicator bulbs on the panel? I pulled my headlamp indicator bulb out recently and dropped it. Wouldn't you know I stepped on it while looking for it... I bet it still worked after the drop too!

This morning at 7am on the way home from work I took a different way home to get coffee. I actually saw 3 seperate 2nd Gens in a matter of less than 10 mins. I can usually go weeks without seeing one and now 3 in one day all along Hwy 441 in Orlando FL. I don't know if any of you are on this site but I'm willing to bet you all caught up with each other. They were spaced about 1/2 to 3/4 a mile apart all headed in the same direction. Pretty cool start to a day.

That last wave of B&E's last month. I think some arrest were made and all has been quite for 4-6 weeks.I hoped it was over for a while. Last weekend a neighbor got took for over 10K in valuables at his camp. They probably drove past mine to get to his there on the same road. Now I'm back on patrol checking my place.People love to get away for a weekend in the country but you can't have anything anymore. If I build a garage down there I bet it will have no windows and a door 12" thick. Did I mention I hate a thief.Got to be punks looking for something to steal and sell for drug money.
