Is there a Kawasaki forum(s) that are as good as Venture rider? I have a cousin who could benefit from having resources for his ride as we enjoy here.

I had to stop here at least for the photo op while on a trip along Lake Huron this weekend. A side benefit was that the food was good too.

I just got a call about this. The guy who was riding the motorcycle is a friend of mine and we were co-workers for many years. It will be awhile before I find out his condition but his grand-daughter was killed. I've always felt that these kind of postings had the benefit of keeping all of us on our toes to watch out for the cars out there. Never thought I'd be one of those guys making the post. Be careful out there my friends.... Bob http://www.krem.com/topstories/stories/krem2-051109-crash-victim-father.177ad9e2.html

I am looking at trading my VTX1800 for a 99 RSV. I need 2-up comfort and found someone who is wanting to go the other way so it will benefit us both without the hassle of selling and buying, etc. I don't see many of them on the road so I'm not that familiar with the bike. i have been looking through the site and have seen very few issues or problems. Anything I should be aware of on the RSV? Will the electrical system handle aux. lights, a communication system and heated clothing? How hard/costly is it to install the Vmax cams and how much benefit? Anything else I need to know? Thanks.

I have a 2006 RSTD with a budget of $2000 to spend on my bike.I do not see that many RSV or RSTD so I do not have the benefit of seeing how the accessories look on the bike.I am curious how the members would spend the money excluding pipes and seats?

I contacted Hipshot (jt) and asked if a benefit fund had been set up for Rattlesnake. He said after a few threats he was able to get the informaiton out of Ron. I remember when I was a kid we lost everything we had to a fire right after Christmas. That was really rough, I remember my folks telling me some people made donations to buy us clothes and some Christmas, being the oldest of 6 kids at the time it really moved me to see someone helping us out. If you would like to make things go a little easier for the Ron Nelson family a fund has been established here is the information: First National Bank of Refugio Ron Nelson benefit fund acct.#1662 Refugio Texas 78377 phone number to the bank, is 1 361 526 2361. I know any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Dean
