Just messing around on eBay and decided to look at the Honda Rune. Couple 2004's out there for $16k & $17k. I think they are smoking something. Guess they forgot they weren't hot sellers to begin with. Take off the 1 at the beginning of that # is more like it. I like the looks of them personally.

First of all, I'm not an electronics guy so I'm not sure where to begin to trace down this problem. The radio on my '83 doesn't work at all. All I have done so far is try to deturnine if I'm getting power to it. I unplugged the plug from the back of the radio and tested all of the pins. I am getting power to some of them but I don't know if that really means anything. Anyway, I guess I'm just looking for a starting point to find the problem. I don't know if the tape deck works or not because I've been afraid to put a tape in it. When I turn the radio on, I don't get any lights or anything. Where should I begin? Thanks in advance for your help.

Last weekend, I pulled the carbs to clean the jets (both sets). Pilots were clogged, mains were fine. Started the mixture screws at 3 turns out from seated. Question: Is there a recommendation on WHICH CARB to begin the mixture adjustment process? I've review numerous threads regarding the adjustment process, but no mention of which carb to begin with. Does it matter? Question: Does the idle adjustment affect all four carbs? Or does turning the idle adjustment screw adjust one carb, then the others "synch-up" to it?

I'm toying with an idea to use hydraulics to make my sidecar lean with the bike as opposed to the three control arms I currently have. Problem is, I don't know nearly enough to even begin addressing the subject. I know what I "want" but need some input to see if it is feasible. If you can help, let me know. Thanks

Trying to get a feel of how far we go between changes. I have used the Rotella about 10k now, changing every 5k. I am sure I could go a little longer, but by 5k, I begin to hear my shifitng. Fresh oil = less noise and smoother shifting.

Hello, I am new to this forum and I have actually posted this on another Venture themed forum, but I am looking for all the ideas I can get. I have an 83 Venture that is in bad need of help cosmetically. Mechanically the bike is sound and runs great, aside from the need for a spring tune up of course. But because of the cosmetic condition I have been considering what to do with the bike. That was until my friend sent me this picture of a 78 Goldwing. I was curious to know if any of you have seen anything like this done with a 1st Gen Venture. I would love any input you all may have and maybe even som pics of a stripped down venture. I would love to get as much info as I can get before I begin. anyway here is the pic.

Five years ago today my wife and I lost our daugher at 39 years of age. Kelley died of an extended illness. We are coping as best we can, but the heartache does not let up.. Well meaning people have told us that time heals all wounds, After five years I am still waiting for the healing to begin... Kelley was a Daddy's girl, and not having her in my life is a real heartbreak. She was a loving mother and a strong Christian girl. I know she is in a better place, but we miss her so desperately.
