Had a great dinner in Buffalo tonight with Taters. She is such a lovely and charming lady and I really enjoyed getting out of the hotel for once. The only bad part was that Big Tom was with her also and he even brought Kenny for backup so I had to be a perfect gentleman. Even still, it was a very enjoyable evening. My apologies to BongoBob, Becky and the rest of the NY group. It was somewhat a last minute minute decision to come here and I actually wasn't even going to mention that I was here until I happened to swap an unrelated message with Tom. I will be back soon and promise to give a few days notice before I come here next time.

Seems that Bobby had a hard breathing this morning..Becky called 911 and he was taken to Springville hospital via ambulance....Becky tells me he is resting comfortably.. he seems to have some fluid on his lungs and the Drs. are concerned about his heart. He is being kept overnight for observation...I will post more when I find out more..

This morning my friend Steve and his wife Becky were leaving SoCal on a trip to Texas. There was a light misty drizzle and doing 35 on a long sweeper right hand turn their front tire hit an oily spot and they crashed severely injuring both of them. Steve has 4 broken ribs and Becky is in ICU on life support with numerous broken bones and trauma. Please say a prayer for these two and help them make it back to health again! Prayer is a powerful tool! Thank you! Brian BigDawg

Move over Superman.....cause BEER30 is here. What a trip going to MD. After leaving MD, Becky and I set off to Mass. to see the grandchildren. We survived the 3 days we spent with a 2 and 3 year old and love every moment of the visit. Then we left Mass. to the West Point Academy to visit a friend and business associate. On this leg of the journey, we encountered marble sized hail, heavy rain, 60 mph crosswinds. This mourning we had a dump truck 60 feet in front of us blow his driver's side rear tire. We were in the inside lane as he was in the outside lane. Road debris peppered us and chunks of the tire flew directly over our heads. Becky ducked right behind me when the tire went BOOM! We were doing slightly over 70 mph and the caged that was following swerved directly in front of us when the tire blew. When I heard and seen the tire blow, I immediately went hard on the brakes to abruptly slow down and then had to speed up enough to not have the tire chunks fall on top of us as well. Luckily there were no others riding our rear when it happened. It was like the Matrix, I tell ya ! Bike and Becky sustained no damage, nor the BEERCART. However I got a small piece of road debris stick in my right arm that annoyed me all day. Nothing that a beer couldn't take care of to say the least. The rest of the day was hot, and then severe rain off and on. We must have stopped and put on rain gear 4 times today. Finally arrived at home before 10:00 pm. Right at 3,000 miles from start to finish. Also in this post, I like to thank Freebird and the Mrs. and to all my friends (old and new) for the Great time at MD. BEER30

Yesterday morning around 7 AM I tried to call Bob to see how he was doing. At that time there was no answer. After I got to work I telephoned my wife and asked her to call Becky (Bob's wife) to see if everything was ok. A relative answered the phone and informed my wife that Bob went to the hospital early yesterday morning around 4 AM at which time he was to have some toes on his foot amputated as the infection in his foot that he has been battling took a turn for the worse. Evidently the doctor never told Bob not to eat breakfast before he came in...he did...and so the surgery got postponed to later yesterday afternoon. My wife and I were planning on going down to his house after work today but when I got into work they changed my schedule from 8 to 4 pm to noon to 10 pm. Bob is at ECMC which stands for the Erie County Medical Center. I am sure he would love some cards and well wishes. If I can find his home address I will paste it here so you can send a card. In the meantime...I'm sure posting here would be great as well. Ok...here is Bob and Becky's home address...lets flood them both with our prayers...some posts here...and get some cards in the mail so that when he returns he has something to cheer him up. Robert & Rebecca Scharf 52 Aristo Terrace Arcade, NY 14009-9205 Just got off the phone with Becky...Bob had his surgery yesterday afternoon at 5 pm...surgery was done at 6 pm...doctor had to remove one toe (initially they thought maybe two)...he should be discharged and coming home this Monday if all continues to go well. My wife and I are going down to his house after church Sunday to put in their air conditioners so that will be one less thing they have to worry about. He currently is in room 703 and there is no telephone in his room. I told Becky to make up a to do list of other things that need to be done around the house and I would try to solicit some help from here to come to their home next Saturday June 14th to help in getting things done. She said there is not much to do...but come on guys...many hands will make for light work...so please consider this request. We can get the job done then maybe chip in for some pizza and wings and hang out with Bob and Becky to keep him in good spirits. I figure we could get there between 9 am and 10 am...and have all the work done by noon, 1 at the latest...and then have the rest of the day to hang out and enjoy one another. Please post here if you can come...Becky says there wll not be a lot to do...but lets get it done and have a party for and with Bob and Becky.

Mini Muffin made not one but 3 pies today so that Becky would get the one promised to her and Beer that I ate last weekend.I guess Mini thinks I dont have room for 3 pies in my belly. Not to mention the scoot right now I have 2 whole pies in the trunk of the MiniBike and have had my share of one at the house so we will see if the Beers (Becky) gets a delivery of a whole pie or not. Right now I want to say to Becky I am sorry if the pie does not make it there whole I will try to refrain from eating it unless that is they built a DQ on my route in the last 48 hours,:whistling: Jeff

Hi all! Got my RSTD back from it's check-up (clutch basket not in yet so it will have to go back later) and it's CB install. Question/Problem is this: Sounds like I have an nest of angry bees in my helmet that increase with RPM'S and speed. This is one of the J&M new ones that does the NOAA weather and all. It works great other than that annoying, very loud buzz. This was a dealer install so what do I tell the guys when I go back for my clutch basket change? Do I need a filter somewhere or what? Thanks in advance again for all your help! Ride safe, Becky
