any one interested in meeting and eating at bass pro in january on a saturday? it would be a one day deal . we haven't done it for awhile. let me know if your interested. if we get enough response i will set a date. we will meet their about 11 am and eat at the restaurant at bass pro and head for home. it's quite a place to see if you have never been there.

I know we have a few (or many) members in Texas, but Texas is a big place. I may need some Venture Rider assistance in the San Antonio area. Just wanted to reach out and see who is there. It would involve meeting someone at the Bass Pro Shop near I-10W and Loop 1604 and then dropping a package in the mail to me. I may be able to get the owner to ship to me, and the deal may not happen, I'm just trying to be prepared. Thanks, James

Here are the pics I took yesterday........ We all met at Bass Pro in Springfield, Mo and then went over to Lamberts to Eat for those not familiar with lamberts.....they have some awesome food....and are known for their throwed rolls.....meaning they throw them to you..they come out inthe dining area straight from the oven and the guys throw them to you....so you have to catch your rolls to eat them.....they are so good.... You pick a main course from the menu...prime rib, ribeye, chicken, etc.....you get 2 sides ( vegetables ) with it......then they come around to the tables with big pans of fried okra, fried potatoes, mac and tomatoes, black eyed peas and the rolls....all you want............that also means all you want of your main dish......if you can eat 3 steaks..you get 3 steaks..... you do not leave hungry...... After lamberts everyone headed home except allanh and dee and dale , haylie and I.....we all went back to bass pro to look around for a while and walk off dinner... 1. dale and snarley Bill 2. dooder and doodette 3. haylie 4. allanh and Dee 5. front window at bass pro 6. haylie and the grizzly 7. tellin lies at bass pro 8. allan and dee again 9. midnight venture and wife ( bill and cindy) 10 at lamberts 11. eating rolls 12. waiting for our food 13. dee catching a roll 14. snarley bill , linda and doodette ( sharon) 15. lamberts 16. dale , allan and haylie trying on hats at bass pro 17. allan and dale thought i should buy this shirt.....

okay ,i am starting the count on who all is planning on attending the pro bass meet & eat in springfield ,mo. saturday, jan 24th, 2009. we will meet at pro bass at noon, and then head for lamberts to eat. linda and i will be there early so we can look around probass for an hour or so. for any one who has never been there it is an awesome place to see. so you may want to get there an hour early. lamberts is a really neat restaurant with good food and lots of it. you won't leave hungry. motorcycles are optional. we are going to cage it. if you plan on being there post it on this thread. this is a good chance to get out of town and let your hair down, for a really great time. bill

the 2009 rally committee is having a get together at the pro bass in springfield, mo., next saturday, aug 16, at noon. any one that wants to sit in with us is welcome to join us. you may just get some inside secret info on the 2009 rally. actually it's mainly just going to be a casual get together. if you come be in the pro bass parking lot by noon. bill

just got back from pro bass. great spur of the moment meet and eat, and boy did we eat. got part of the 2009 committee there and have a few new ideas and got some samples of rosebuds name badges they are awesome. great job rosebud. colesgrandpaw is working on a special project concerning the different things to see and maps to get there for people who want to take off in groups and sight see. i'm going to try to find some one to make up a dvd of the whole meet and put to music so every one can have a record of it. like the first eureka springs meet. where you at floyd. rode 470 mi. round trip and sitting here typing and enjoying a few beers. all in all a great day. thanks to all who attended. had a great time. bill :clap2:

She did it to me again..... in fact out fished the other 2 boats in the area She released 4 walleye and 2 lake Trout and I ended up with 1 walleyee and 1 small mouth bass

Since my accident I get to get new speakers since one was totally destroyed, also getting rid of stock radio. I'm going with polk db401's but I'm sure they will distort at higher levels being only 4" speakers and since most of my rides are 55+ mph hearing them is harder without distortion. Anyone using bass blockers? Hows the sound? I like some bass does it totally knock it out? Any opinions?
