Hi guys, what is the best adhesive to use to reapply the yamaha and venture royale emblems? Seems like the factory stuff was awesome and I'm afraid I'll lose them with this double sided tape I was pondering. Thanks! -
Just got home from an awesome overnighter to the Okanagan. Amazed that the weather is still so awesome to do such a ride. Beautiful sunny skies and warm temps were perfect for a most enjoyable trip. A friend of mine invited us on a ride to Kerstings Motorcycle Museum in Winimac Indiana. My friend described how he and his brother in law stumbled on this place quite by accident, this trip was designed to end there. No venture in the place but it was awesome seeing some old and unusual bikes.

Ok my wife bought one of these at WalMart http://www.walmart.com/ip/Zap-Master-Handheld-Electric-Bug-Zapper/19530536 for MD, we never used it there because Don told the bugs to stay away or something. Last night we pulled it out and I must say it works awesome and it a real hoot. . .

Feb 04 .... the earliest I have ever gotten out for a ride! WOOOOOOOHHOOOOOOOOO :thumbsup2: Left the house @ 10:45 this morning and just got back about 15 min ago (4:45 PM). What an awesome day it was and tomorrow will be more of the same! Highs around 11 celcius (zero overnight tho) and nuthin but sunshine! Man-O-man it felt GREAT! I received my drivers backrest today, Custom World International. The installation was simple and it has several adjustments. Took a ride and it was awesome. I'll try and post pictures from my phone. -

anyone live near Memphis and going to the Air show Saturday? (It's actually being held at the airfield in Millington, just north of Memphis) Our son is flying the B2 over. The Blue Angels will be there. Going to be a fantastic show! If you are in the area, please come or at least look UP!! it's going to be awesome!

Well, the adventure is over for me, back home and so sad to see a recess until the next International Rally. It was great to meet so many of you, riding / eating / yakking, and from some, watching and learning as members fixed members bikes. I will never forget The awesome Chili Cookoff - with fabulous fish taco's / wraps thrown in. What started off in fun and maybe as a joke, became a fun way of sharing some good times: Jan/Carol/Dave, Terry/Erv, and Black Owl all did a stupendous job making everyone happy and full one night. The rides - short or long in length - were awesome, that is sure some pretty country around there and thank you to Kurt for putting the maps together. Thank you to Rocket for getting the ball rolling on this years trailer raffle Dave/Jan for all of their assistance from the shirt design and handling the shirt orders, and for the unselfish and generous assisting during the entire rally itself. TO ALL, who lent a hand at one point or another, to all that participated in our various "antics" (as I know I am probably missing some names), but most importantly TO ALL OF YOU WHO ATTENDED OUR RALLY THIS YEAR, IF I did this correctly, here are some pictures from my camera - I wish I had more, but - should remember to charge the battery once in a while? https://picasaweb.google.com/loneeagle101/VRInternationalCODYRally2011# Now, I guess the next question would be?????????????? Well, it looks as though I have managed to while away a whole work day just reading about Freebird's maintenance day and looking at all the pics. Thanks Don for an awesome time (seems as though I was there just reading about it) and thanks everyone for the pics and for helping me get through a whole work day without doing a lick of work! :whistling:

Well my little silverwing always did decent on gas at around 55mpg. Well last weekend I put in some sea-foam and rand it for just a bit. It has sat for couple days. Me and a friend decided to take advantage or a beautiful day and went for a ride. Total distance was 208 miles. Total gas I used 2.9 gallons. So my mileage has gone up to almost 72 mpg!!! Sea-foam is awesome. Just wanted to share. Ohh yea if you ever find yourself behind a manure spreader pass it as quickly as possible and convince yourself that was mud that was falling of of it. Just got off the phone with Mark, builder of the after-market collector for the VR, and what an awesome guy. It is apparent this guy knows his way around the Yamaha V engines and was a heck of a conversationalist as well. I should have a new collector for my bike within three weeks and then the madness begins bbaaawwaahhahhhaaaa ,,,cough cough cough -

There are many things wrong with this video (lack of gear, dangerous stunts) but it is a beautiful representation of why we ride motorcycles, and why we enjoy the friendship and companionship of those we ride with. There is also some awesome photography and scenery. Posting pictures of the Tattoo that Jason who's proud Mom and Dad are Beer 24/7 and Beer30 did Sunday evening. He added the Dragon onto the already present Tat of the heart and rose. He did an AWESOME job, he has a wonderful gift. I couldn't be happier with it. Thanks Jason.
