Quickstep and Aussie Annie set over a buddy to check out the riding in the states before their arrival later this month. Ulysses made his way over a bit ago but because of weather didn't get a chance to ride until last Saturday. After getting him on the back of my bike. Off we went for a 450 mile ride from Salt Lake to Green River, UT (bacon cheeseburger was great at Ray's Tavern) and back. He was still smiling and didn't look too worn out at the end of the trip. http://i470.photobucket.com/albums/rr70/utadventure/IMG_1151.jpg I think the verdict is in.......Good Ridin', come on and join us!! Thanks and look forward to seeing you soon!! Dave

While we're thanking people for stuff related to the International, I want to thank our dear friends Aussie Annie and Quickstep for sending stuff for the raffle. I got first pick. (First out of the "fish bowl" - wasn't even paying attention yet - they had to nudge me.) Got myself a nifty 'roo patch. Irene picked the red shirt. Thanks a million for sending 'em!

Okay, most of you know we are hoping to come over next year. Don't think we would travel far without a GPS So, will the unit come with Aussie maps and U.S. maps? Looking to probably buy from over there...so what do I do re: maps?

With ANZAC DAY approaching [sunday 25th April] we were given the opportunity to send messages to our men and women over seas. Anzac Day is very significant to us, and goes back to WW1 and the battle at Gallipoli. If you would like to send a message supporting Aussie troops: http://www.telstra.com/anzacday "At the going down of the sun And in the morning We will remember them LEST WE FORGET

Just wanted to mention (without rubbing anything in) that today we had a pleasant maximum temperature of 41degC. Overnight it went down to a very pleasant 18degC. Gotta love this Aussie weather. Yes - I did ride to work, in short sleeves. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
