This is our day today. For you Southern folk, the thing NOT covered is a snow blower:cry: The covered one is an '07 Midnight Venture:mad: Hmm, maybe if I attach one to the other... We're lucky, some places to the east of us got over a foot of the stuff.

I have a 2002 RSV and was given a centerstand off of an 84 venture. Matching up the bolt holes to the bracket on the chassis seems to be exact. Does anyone know if I can just attach it to the existing holes on the chassis and if I can, does someone have a diagram on how the spring and lever attach to the stand and frame?

I beleave I got,my answer, In a search, But just in case I miss understood here goes. My trailer is nearly done. I wired the bike at the loom under the seat with inline fuse protection. I put the ground on the negative terminal for testing everything works great. With that in mind, should I solder a lug on it and and attach it their or is there a better place. Or does it make any difference. Thanks guys and gals.

I found a decent set of saddle bag side rail guards for my bike. But there is no bolts and spacers to attach them to the bike. Sooooo, does anyone have a set of the attaching bolts and spacers to sell ? Or a total set of the bars and necessary hardware to attach. These rails that I have found have the reflectors on them. But I am reluctant to buy them with out knowing about the needed hardware to attach. The price seems reasonable. Fuzzy

So, there I was today riding over to one of my favorite BBQ joints on one of the Texas Farm-to-Market roads doing 70, when I get a face-full of my '83 VR false tank cover. Managed to grab it before it went sailing, and apparently the small ABS "tab" under the gas tank filler cap had failed. It had vibrated forward until it became un-clipped from the front attach point. Good thing I had a roll of duct tape in the saddlebag. Does anyone happen to have a good "permanent" fix for that little sucker??

We are getting ready to leave for CO next week and I have a question. Wanda's back is just not up to riding across KS, so I'm going to trailer to CO and then we'll ride all week in the mountains. Here's my question, where to attach the tiedown straps? I can see there is just enough clearance to attach the front straps to the handlebars near the triple tree, but are the rear bars where y'all attach your rear straps? The last time I trailered a bike was 30years ago and that was a dirt bike that I could have just laid over, so I wasn't too careful with it!

I was wondering if anyone has tried these? They are leather cargo pockets that attach to the front of the saddlebag rails? http://saddlebagsbytalisman.com

The Patriot Guard escorted some 30 wounded Marines from the Greenville/Pickens Speedway through Easley and Clemson (SC) to Keowee Key for a week long "rehabilitation vacation". Thanks to some fancy dilly-dallying around I managed to 'spend' some extra time on one of my properties to allow me an opportunity to have a front row seat at the beginning of the run. My guess is that there were probably some 100 bikes escorting these guys. I'm sorry to say that the coach they were in had dark tinted windows and you couldn't see them!!! And due to the miracle of technology I can't seem to attach pictures:soapbox:

Am at a conference in Savannah GA and had the opportunity to get my picture taken on an OCC chopper made for the Army National Guard. Thought I would attach it here. It is pretty big. Almost too much stuff on it. Paint job is fantastic! Will attach more when I get home and can resize the ones off my camera

I loaded about 140 pictures of Asheville from my camera to my computer. Where would be the best place to put them to share on here? And how would I do it. I know how to attach to a post, but I do not have a gallery. I looked at photobucket, but did not take the time to try to figure it out. RandyA

What kind of air compressor do you carry with you on your bike? I saw one in the store made by Slime - about $35, and it can attach to the lead from the battery for the battery tender. Any one have experience with this?

Hi, I have a 2002 Venture with a dead battery. I have looked through the owner's manual, and cannot find how to remove the seat. Can anyone tell me (in layman's terms) how to remove the seat so that I can attach the battery tender? Thanks so much, Betsey

How can I protect the fairing from damage when the bike goes down? Are there any bumpers that I can attach to the top of the fairing?
