I just took my bike out of storage and noticed I have an oil leak from the top rear cylinders. I am planning on getting a valve adjustment in the near future if I can get an appointment. Is there anything I can do now to stop it or just leave it till they do the valves? Thanks Much Keith

The Washcloth Ladies this has to be read, laughed at and passed on. There is not a woman alive today who won't crack up over this! I was due for an appointment with the gynecologist later in the week. Early one morning, I received a call from the doctor's office to tell me that I had been rescheduled for that morning at 9:30 am. I had only just packed everyone off to work and school, and it was already around 8:45am. The trip to his office took about 35 minutes, so I didn't have any time to spare. As most women do, I like to take a little extra effort over hygiene when making such visits, but this time I wasn't going to be able to make the full effort. So, I rushed upstairs, threw off my pajamas, wet the washcloth that was sitting next to the sink, and gave myself a quick wash in 'that area' to make sure I was at least presentable. I threw the washcloth in the clothes basket, donned some clothes, hopped in the car and raced to my appointment. I was in the waiting room for only a few minutes when I was called in. Knowing the procedure, as I'm sure you do, I hopped up on the table, looked over at the other side of the room and pretended that I was in Paris or some other place a million miles away. I was a little surprised when the doctor said, "My, we have made an extra effort this morning, haven't we?" I didn't respond. After the appointment, I heaved a sigh of relief and went home. The rest of the day was normal ... some shopping, cleaning, cooking, etc. After school when my 6 year old daughter was playing, she called out from the bathroom, "Mummy, where's my washcloth?" I told her to get another one from the cupboard. She replied, "No, I need the one that was here by the sink, it had all my glitter and sparkles saved inside it."

Had my follow up appointment at the Doctor. He was very pleased with my shoulder replacement's healing and surprised at the amount of mobility I had. Released me to return to work (Desk Job) Monday. I have been faithfully doing my exercises and my boss (wife) has kept a short leash. I upgrade my exercises after my next appointment Jan 14. Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers. Jay

OK folks, I have received a couple of emails reminding me that I have kept you all in the dark about my eye. What can I say, I still have it and it is looking better from the side that YOU see but from the inside, it doesn't work at all. I knew that would be the case though. The vision has been gone for several months now and this latest surgery was just to relieve pressure, stop the headaches and hopefully save the eye from having to be removed. So far, so good. I had an appointment today and the pressure was back down in the normal range. There is still come redness but it is getting better. I am down from putting 4 prescription eye drops in my eyes 4 times a day to using only one prescription 2 times a day so that is good. The doctor said today that they eye looks good and doesn't want to see me again until December. Now that is the Glaucoma specialist. I have an appointment with the cataract specialist next week and apparently he will be removing a couple of stitches that I didn't even know I still had. I thought they were all the dissolving kind but apparently not. I guess that is the irritation that I feel from time to time. Then I go see the eye oncologist again in December for another routine checkup. The bottom line is.....everything is going as expected and I guess that's all good.

Put about 45 miles on this afternoon. They postponed the 3 hour enduro motorcycle race on the local lake because of too much water on the lake. Can't blame them. It was 30 degrees colder when they did it last year, but they weren't going to be wet. I've been fighting my couple times a year lower back problems (had part of a disc taken out in 95). The one thing that always seems to fix it is get on the bike and ride. And it seems too have worked again, Later, Scooter Bob:) Can't resist.. Scooter Bob... who thinks that 1/2 gallon of gas is much cheaper than a chiropractor appointment

I went in today for the PET scan which will let us, the Dr. and I, know if there are any live cancer cells left after the chemo and the radiation. If not then the surgery will be scheduled for the end of the year hopefully and this thing will be behind me. The Dr. will get the results Wed., and I have a 9:00 A.M. appointment with him to get the results also. I am asking for prayers that there will be nothing on the scan and everything is good. Don H.
