You have to love Best Buy. 4 years ago I bought a 52" LCD Sony Bravia. I had their "Black Tie" warranty. It developed a green line 4" from the edge (not really bad) which would go away after 40 minutes. They can't get the replacement part from Sony for 2 months so the GAVE me a NEW 55" LED Sony Bravia Internet TV FREE!!! because Sony doesn't make 52" LCD tvs anymore.

Sharing my new bling, just put them on. Chuck AKA (Slowrollwv) is making them now next door on the other site. I think he has 5 more sets made. Daughter back in school and it must be rough. She gets home sets on the couch and starts talking to me while I'm doing things, suddenly I don't hear her anymore and she was in the middle of telling me how her day went. I walked into the living room and this is what I found.

i'm sitting here with tears in my eyes writing this. i just talked to la on the phone, and he is'nt doing to well. i know he will be mad at me for posting this but i think all his friends should know. he has'nt been on the site since last december cuz he does'nt want folks to feel sorry for him. he said he does'nt go much farther than the grocery store any more. it's hard for me to picture the ambassador not out on the road heading to visit with one of us. i don't know if he gets on the computer anymore at all. but his phone number is on the members list. he is a true friend and i really miss riding with him and his drop in visits. i just wanted everyone to know his situation even if he does'nt. he sounded really depressed cuz he can't do the things he really loves anymore. maybe some of us can cheer him up a little. bill

After 2 years I found the saddlebags guard bars for the RS 97, and i got them. (Yes I paid at least 100$ over the price since it is not on the market anymore...). I finished to put it, and I didn't realize that one of the upper plates is not on the same positition regarding the saddlebag than the other one. After I runned the bike yesterday, it seems that my rear shock is not longer working now. Did somebody had been on the same situation any time? I'll correct that now, but I wonder if due to the lateral force the shock is not on perfect line and that is enough to stop working. Or when I put the lower plates, and release each one of the two bolts that holds the frame on each lower side (One at the time) that some way released the shock and now is totally loose, and this is the real reason for the shock not working anymore since it is loose. Thanks for any advise on this. :sick::sick::sick:

Swapped Neutral Switch, for cracked gear position switch...works perfect, no leak from here anymore....now to stop the other leaks.

Anyone here ride a FJR1300A? I am about to write a check for a new one; trading in my Harley. Also promised the boss I'd sell my 86 that I love so dearly. Just can't have two bikes anymore but the one I will own, will be the FJR. Any comments about the FJR will be greatly appreciated. Unless someone changes my mind, I'll have the FJR in my garage by Saturday.

My '83 Royale has the typical rusted-out tip on the left muffler. I read some of the previous postings concerning Jardine and Mac mufflers. If they aren't being made anymore (as was indicated in one post), are there other options? Thanks

Ok guys, so when do we have our first good ride planned? I'm getting antsy sitting here all couped up. It doesn't help that my better half decided to give be a really nice birthday gift and told me she doesn't wanna be by better half anymore. I figure a good ride with some of my friends here should help me get my mind of that and back to where it belongs. Ridin' is great therapy. Bill

I was checking MPG when we went away this past summer and then when I got home I just kept keeping track. Attached is a couple of charts with all the fuel records, with a trailer and without. The first page is pretty accurate, but the second page may be off one or two fill ups either way. To those who get higher MPG, I don't know how you do it, but I am sure we do not drive the same. PS. Takes too long at every fill up so I am not checking anymore Brad

I'm wondering if anybody has any experience with these No-Mar tire changing machines. I've gotten too old to do my tires on the floor anymore, and am looking at getting a floor mount tire changer. I started by looking at the Harbor Freight changer but they apparently don't import that anymore. Then, I found this company No-Mar. their stuff is pricier, but U.S. made, and looks to be much better quality. Just looking for any opinions before I borrow money to buy this machine.

I have been trying for 3 weeks to buy my wife a motorcycle. I have answered 10 ad's on craigs list, told them I have cash on hand and I will buy the bike if I like it. I cant get anyone to call me back, one guy keeps stalling, and another that was willing to meet decided he is not selling it anymore. I cant figure it out.

Anyone have a spare cable like this they aren't using? I don't care to pay $35 for a cable on a unit that is as old as this model. Kids got ahold of the cable one day and can't get the unit to power on anymore. :-( Or tell me how I can hardwire it to the bike. Thanks

I know.. I know... this is definately not Bike related... BUT... If I soon don't get this thing fixed, I won't be riding anytime soon. Looking specifically for a free online download. Ebay sells service manual for around $200. I've seen them online but can't find the links anymore. Am having Hydraulics problems in the outriggers and need to tear apart.

No, not mental, that left long ago and will never come back. I finally got rid of the CT today and put a Elite II on the back. WAY BETTER. I'm not trying to control the bike all the time anymore and its fun to ride again. That's my take on running a CT and I tried everything to get it to work but you really just can't use a CT on a motorcycle IMHO. So I'll just .

I have the original mufflers for the scoot it came with the bike so I dont any anymore swap e-mails l.O.l.
