Perhaps a poll is warranted(pun intended)... for second gen rear air shocks, asking if your rear shock went out before the 5 year warranty, and if so, how many times was it replaced? AT HOW MANY MILES YEARS? would be good to know what percentage of our organization has this problem?.... would be good ammo when addressing the yamaha customer service reps and just might force them to address the problem(use a better replacement shock).

HOW TO INSTALL A SOUTHERN HOME SECURITY SYSTEM 1. Go to Goodwill and buy a pair of size 14-16 men's work boots. 2. Place them on your front porch, along with a copy of Guns & Ammo Magazine. 3. Put four giant dog dishes next to the boots and magazines. 4. Leave a note on your door that reads ...... Bubba, Bertha, Duke, Slim, & I went for more ammo and beer. Be back in an hour. Don't mess with the pit bulls. They got the mailman this morning and messed him up bad. I don't think Killer took part, but it was hard to tell from all the blood. Anyway, I locked all four of 'em in the house. Better wait outside. Be right back. Cooter

I'm not very gun savvy, and was wondering if there is a handgun and rifle other than a 22 that can use the same ammo. I'd like to get something before the right is taken away! Thanks, Kenw

A friend of mine that shares an interest in handguns shot this to me yesterday. Made me cringe a bit. I've seen a couple of ammo mishaps before but this had to be a close call for the shooter. A guy came into the PD the other day to ask a favor. He had a S&W 629 (44 Mag.) that he wanted to dispose of after a mishap at the range. He said there was a loud bang when he tested his new ammo, (Chinese made), and the gun smacked him in the forehead, leaving a nice gash. When the tweety birds cleared, this is what he saw ... Bet he never uses Chinese made Ammo again!

After 6 months of stress and 5 ft of snow this winter were out of here. Leaving for Hatteras Island and taking a new route. Were going south via Raleigh NC,Rock Mount and across Rt 64 to OBX.A change of scenery it's been 20 years since I went that way. My brother is going to watch my place and we have enough ammo loaded to hold down the fort for a while. Also got 4 dogs and 8 pups on patrol and one pissed off mallard duck.:rotf:

For all those who enjoy shooting sports, don't make the mistake of buying Winchester brand ammo. Last week I purchased both 9mm and 22 mag ammo from a local Walmart and it was so fouled up that I would not even shoot it much less carry it for self defence. Bent cases, bullets not seated properly and duds just to name a few of the problems. The 9mm ammo caused misfeeds, and failed to eject from the pistol several times. The 9mm cases were too far out of round and seized up in the chamber. The brass cases were most likely too thin and warped when fired. Walmart, the lovely people they are, said it was my problem and that I had to take it up with Winchester. Winchester has no contact info and when I did locate a number for East Alton Il, they did not answer the phones. Just a bunch of automated phone crap that leads you nowhere. Federal, Remington and CCI are all good.

In 1996 Mamamo and I hosted a NRA certified pistol training course on my grandpa's farm.We received our concealed permits shortly after that.Since then we sold the farm and moved in a couple of mobile homes on my property. One for my Dad after his heart attack in 95 and one that my daughter and family currently lives in. Our permits have been expired for 7-8 years as we basically run out room to shoot safely here on the property. After buying the camp last spring I mentioned about building a pistol shooting range out back and getting back into the game.My brother is wanting to set back up my reloading bench which brings me to my question. I have 9mm reloading dies but have never used them.Back in those days the price of plinking ammo was cheap.Have you ever reloaded pistol ammo for an autoloader? My concealed weapons ammo will be factory I'm just talking about plinking cartridges. it used to be we could buy bulk ammo at a cheap price.
