I'm looking for a trailer and have looked at 2. Both were Aluma MCTXL models, one new one used. They both had a little water standing in the bottom. Are they leaking or is that condensation? If, like I suspect it's condensation, will it be an ongoing problem? I was thinking about putting insulation and carpet in it but I don't the carpet to get wet and mildew. How do you keep yours dry? Thanks Rex

I've been thinking about buying a trailer to haul the bike on occasionally and everyone here has talked me out of an enclosed trailer in favor of an open one. Since I would like to be able to travel with friends I want to be able to haul two bikes. I've narrowed my choice down to an Aluma MC210. It's a bit pricey at $2900 but I like the all aluminum construction. Does anyone have any experience with either the MC210 or MC10 (single bike) trailers? How does the RSV fit on the trailer? Would it be possible to move a wheel chock to the center to carry a single bike? Here's a couple of links to the trailers: http://www.trailershopper.com/page-23447.html http://www.alumaklm.com/mc210_motorcycle_trailer.html Thanks, Dennis

Back in Jan while in AZ I wanted a trailer that I could use on the road for fly tying, BB Qing/ tailgating at games. Figured I could take a top lid from an aluminum motorcycle trailer, unlocked fold back 180 degree back and swing down the hinged luggage racks as strut and one would have a platform/table etc. Looked around and called Aluma in Iowa spoke with the CEO and asked him to make a proto yype. He thought the design was great and would try it and let me know. A Dean Maschof sp called back several times wanting to know specs and thought they could fit it into Alum'a products as an option. So hopefully soon we should see this as an option . Any suggestions as to usefullness etc Nevada Max

Snow is flying like crazy up here in Ontario Canada so I now have a some time to start planning for next years rides. We have been looking for a trailer for our RSV. I have corresponded with one of our members who has the Aluma MCT trailer. I have yet to see one but hope to soon now that I found a dealer in Canada. We saw a fibergalass trailer a few weeks ago made by a Canadian company called Trekker. It looks like a nice unit. I was wondering if anyone has a Trekker trailer or knows of someone who does? Any input on either trailer would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. JR http://www.thomasamerican.com/trailers_for_sale_inventory.asp?Category=MCT&TrailerType=All http://www.trekkertrailer.com/

I've nixed the uni wheel pullers and after all the looking and checking other boards, Aluma trailer look like the great value and great pullers. Any comparison neg or pos between these alumin trailer vs fiberglass Bushtec). Does Aluma have less in the way of wheels bearing etc I've also heard they are re designing to include a fold back platform system with supports to make into a platform/table for tail gating, BBQing etc. That would be the "cats meow" if that works thanks in advance Max
