Anybody here watch tv over the internet. My nephew received some type of device that allows them to watch TV can't remember the name of it. I know you can somehow do it with a X-Box or Playstation but were not interested in that. This magic gizmo allows you to watch on your television and not the computer. We have a DSL connection not sure of speed or how to check it but it is a reliable connection. Any help would be appreciated I'm just tired of paying for a bunch of stuff I don't watch (dish network ) and looking for alternatives. thanks Vincent

Does anybody have the part number for the o-ring that slips onto the coolant drain pipe assembly and then seats into the thermostat housing on an 83 first gen? I cant seem to find it in the parts manual. Any alternatives or if someone has one that they can measure up that would be great. Perhaps I can find a suitable replacement.

I just want to say that as a new Venture owner, (1st gen) this forum has been an immense help in helping get my project 83 road ready. Let's just say all the basics were covered, re-soldering the computer to solve the headlight problem, extensive help on bleeding the braking system, repairing plastic tabs and fuel pump alternatives just to name a few of the places I 've been here in the last couple of weeks. Needless to say, my bike is now road ready. This winter I will be doing the second gear repair with help from VentureRiders.org. Thanks to all who have contributed to this wealth of information. Twelve bucks? What a deal!

I dropped-in on my local dealer this afternoon and picked-up a 13oz can of Plexus, and I couldn't believe that they were asking $23.00 for it. When I got home, I decided to look-up Plexus on-line to see what kind of prices were being asked by vendors. One of the first links from Amazon was asking $35.99 for a 13oz can. Of course, I know about all of the other great alternatives to Plexus, so that's not a problem. It's just disappointing to find a product that I like, and it then begins to get marked-up so high that it's no longer a reasonable purchase. Heck, I remember paying about $6.00 a can for that stuff just a few years ago. Back to Pledge (the regular scent - lemon attracts bees), or to that Honda polishing spray, I guess.

I have a friend that just bought a '93 Gold Wing trike. He had been trying to get back on a bike for several years but is slightly paralyzed in one arm and had to go with a trike. The front tire is a Dunlop EIII 130/70R-18 and is in need of changing. Are there any alternatives that he could use? It looks as if the trikes mainly upright stance wears out the center of the tire prematurely. Any suggestions? Thank you! Don

No, not me! I thought I'd pass this along though my knowledge is not complete. I received a letter from business associate the other day saying he was going to have prostate surgery, I found it disturbing because one of my customers had this diagnosis and went into hyperdrive to find alternatives to the standard surgery/impotence and a bag. He came up with several options, one of which involved cryogenics and the other which he ultimately chose: focused heat -burn the suckers! Since the FDA had not approved the procedure yet (It's been used for ten years in Europe) he went to the Bahama's to get this done, he still has a prostate because the treatment was targeted to cancer celss, he is not on a bag, his potency is at 95% (with the help of cialis) and should the cancer return this procedure can be repeated again and again. On top of that the insurance paid 90% of the treatment cost. (Which of course may go out the window with universal healthcare) So for us guys who are faced with this, I would urge you to consider alternatives before agreeing to going under the knife

Anyone know any alternatives to the 2 air filter boxes on an 06 TD, I have a friend who has a venture also, and we have been searching for alternatives other than the 300 dollar chrome ones, I looked at the barons big air kit, and can't see that it would work on this new of a bike.
