Hey All, just wanted to say a Big Thank You to Freebird for all he does, and for allowing me to post my bike for sale, even though it is not a Venture. Since joining here years ago I have always liked this site with all the wonderful people. No matter what I ride, I always feel welcome here, and it is truly because of the ones in charge, so Thanks Again Don. Later-

I know some have bypassed the ignition switch for a just in case circumstance. So maybe someone can help me out here. Recently I have been having some weird things happening that I am attributing to the ignition switch going bad. I have read and printed out the by-pass procedure to install a separate switch on the bike in case the main one craps out. My question is this. By putting this switch in does it give you everything you need or is it just allowing you to crank the bike and run it? Do you get lights, dash, turn signals, brakes, and everything else that would normally come on with the ignition? Many thanks in advance.

Don, would you consider allowing HTML code in signature permissions?

Ok....my Vulcan sold on Friday! WOO HOOOOO! I went to the bike shop on Saturday....they already had my 2008 RSTD assembled for me to look at! Got to fire it up and sit on it......not overly exciting for some, but damn exhilerating for me! Going back to pick it up in 2 weeks! Damn family trip to Alasha for a week getting in the way of getting the bike! Oh well. Thanks for allowing me to share!

In case you haven't heard, Mars will be draped in red tonite, followed an hour later by the full moon. Should rise in the SE sky. THis is the closest Mars will be for another 26 months, and tonite it is exactly in line with the earth and sun, allowing us to see it in red. Supposed to be seen by the necked eye! Mega Cool! Merry Christmas, Dan

Has anyone purchased one of the bike haulers that mounts in the receiver of a car or truck trailer hitch and secures the front wheel allowing the rear wheel to ride on the road? If so, what has been your experience?
