Most of you will probably notice it sooner or later but I just wanted to let you know that I have added a new banner to the upper right of our pages. You will see a banner for Ace High Leathers show up randomly with the very few others that I have running. Many of you have already dealt with Nanci at Ace High Leathers and therefore know about the fantastic works that she does. Now it is easy to get to her site by simply clicking the banner. Or, you can just go there now. http://www.acehighleathers.com

I just received my Russell Day Long seat. My wife and I have a trip to North Carolina planned in July - we live in Delaware. Nanci over at Ace High Leathers is making a set of saddle bag lid covers for me. Once all is done I'll post a picture. I had a trunk project started but didn't finish until I saved the money for the seat. Trunk has a back rest so wanted to be able to align with Mama's needs for comfort. Anyone have experience with Ace High? Thus far they have been very cooperative trying to coordinate with Russell to get a color / texture match.

Hi you guys! I've gotten to know several of you and I can only say THANKS! for spreading good cheer about my work. A friend who owns a Midnight RSV asked me to incorporate his wood grain trim gas tank piece into a bib. We came up with something that surprised me with its simplicity and usefulness as he wanted a VERY small pocket at the bottom to hide his heating gear wire. It looks very cool:cool10: I'm not good with photos on this site so please take a look at the Ace High Leathers Facebook page if you want to see what it looks like; http://www.facebook.com/pages/Ace-High-Leathers/164529240257266 Keep in mind that you can do close to the same thing with your Yamaha leather bib, just remember to clean the leather well before you stick it on and cut it with a pair of sharp scissors if need be. Thank you Dan S for the idea! Ride Safe, Nanci, Ace High Leathers

I went looking for a key blank for my first gen Venture. I had read that the ILCO YH46 X120 was the correct blank but there is a better choice. The keymaster at our local ACE Hardware had the X120 but said the HICO 11010 YH50 was a better match for my OEM key. Of course, it has a flat head, not the Yamaha plastic logo one, but I was looking for one I could stash somewhere on the bike so no problem. ACE UPC # 029069706852. Price = $2.19 plus tax and that includes cutting the blank!
