I was sitting in the living room yesterday and noticed that it seemed unusually hot. Looked at my thermostat and it had gotten up to 83 in the house. A/C showed to be running but I looked outside and saw that the fan was not running on the outside unit. So....A/C is down. Did what checks I could do but didn't find the problem. Finally called the repair folks and they are supposed to be here this morning. It did cool off to 81 by this morning. Could have been worse I guess. Temps yesterday were in the 97 range with 50% humidity. Now to see what it is going to cost to fix this thing.

I have looked at everything more times than I care to admit, but my faux tank cover simply will not lock into place with the TCI mounted on top of the air cleaner box. The a/c box is properly and fully seated, the carbs are full seated into their boots, and with the TCI on top of the a/c, there is just not enough room for the cover to be mounted. So, I am going to return both the TCI and the boost sensor to the stock location. What a waste of time. But learn something new everyday. Atleast I found my b/s wasn't working at all.

Here are a couple of pics from last weekend's ROT rally. Going to the Rally had everything loaded up. The two tubs on top contain the a/c unit and cloths. Yes my wife packs light. Also had the cooler full of beverages and ice. Yes it was heavy. Didn't have any problems pulling it, left the bike in 4th and set the cruise at an indicated 65-70. Got between 30-35 mpg's. Coming home I let my FIL carry all of the gear, and the cooler was empty. That was an easy pull. 5th gear and cruise on 75, no problems. Getting 35-40 mpgs. Actually got cold at night with the a/c unit, had to turn it down and borrow a blanket. The air mattress works ok, but not used to such a small bed, and every movement gets transmitted to your partner. May have to look for a memory foam instead, but not looking for more bulk to haul.
