    Alright all you smartypants folks- let's try this one on for size. Has anybody tried modifying the speedo sensor so that cruise will work above 80mph? I understand the basic principle of reed switches and etc, but the specifics of it would need to be known in order to work a go-around for the 80mph inhibit limit. Would it be as simple as jumping across the contacts like the other CMU jumpers? How does the cruise module KNOW when you're going 80+?

    well today i was heading down to peoria IL on I 39 when this awesome black and gold yamaha venture passed me then went on toward bloomington /normal now i never saw a black and gold one before did they come out in that color? im thinking a mkII? as the bags looked larger at least what i could see of the bike that sucker was hauling arse. i was doing 80mph in the car at the time but i got a fair look at it when it pulled of and onto the exit toward bloomington/normal looked like AZ plates maybe ? anyways just wanted to say if it was you that is one nice looking bike.

    I purchased a 2006 RSV last month and have a few questions: 1. What type of communications devices are recommended that mesh with the on-board intercom? We have 3/4 helmets. I was quoted a price of $300 at the dealership for a set and I'm hoping to find something more reasonable. 2. Is there a "fix" for setting the cruise control at speeds greater than 80mph? 3. The door for the cassette player sticks, and won't open without quite a bit of effort. Is there a way to correct this problem? Is there a CD player available that would fit in the same space?
