Perhaps... New York Giants (last years superbowl champs) just got a beat down. Question is... can the Steelers(Stealers 1938 Retro BadBoys) stay healthy enough for a Unprecidented 7th Superbowl Championship? Will Troy P. ever be back? Time will tell...

Planning to go riding on Saturday May 7th. I am in the Steele Creek area of Charlotte near I485 and I77. Thinking I might head kinda towards the north no set route yet. Anyone want to join me I plan on leaving by 9am and plan on being gone into the early evening. I usually stop and snack once before 11a and then stop and eat around 130p but this is mostly about riding. Just pm me or post here if you want to ride with me.

So, just curious, how many miles have you guys put on this year? I got my 85 Venture in April, turned 16 may 7th, and put on more than 6,200 miles this summer. So how many have you put on your venture?

All seems to have went well with the septoplasty. Nose is quite swollen, but no black eyes or anything like I thought I would. Constant drainage sucks. Painkillers taste AWFUL! Go back in on Thursday to get these sponges out. Then I go back on the 7th. to get the stents taken out. I hope everything feels better for the 4th. of July weekends camping trip up to Madeline Island.

I recently got the best Christmas present of my life. My daughter, who I knew was special, got invited by Duke to take her ACT at the age of 12. This didn't suprise me since they have been scouting her for a couple of years. I took her for the test last month and waited patiently for the results. I was expecting a 14-18 for a score and was just thrilled that she had taken the test. She got her results last week and scored a 28!! Her guidance counselor was amazed and said in all of his years (he was my teacher in 7th grade also) he had never seen any 12 yr old score higher than a 22! Anyone know the implications of this? Maybe in a few years I can get a new Venture and name it "College Fund"? Sorry for the bragging, just a "proud pop". Curt

Folks...I'm thinking May 24th for my annual Maintenance Day. That is Memorial Day weekend though as Memorial day is the following Monday, the 26th. Does that cause a problem or make it better for everybody? I can move it to the following weekend, June 7th, if that works better for most people.

I received a flyer in today's mail about a liquidation auction in Orlando, Florida. There's going to be a lot of Triumphs there as well as other vehicles. One bike will be Steve McQueens 67 Bonneville. Here's more info on it: MotorbiliaAuctions.com note: click on e-bay link to bid after you've registered as a participant World of Decor Auctions 1-800-645-8571 bidding starts at 10am Oct 7th Anyhow looks like a lot of sweet bikes there.
