I am going to add a Zumo 665 to my 2004 RSV this spring. I wish to plug this into the aux of the radio. My question is can I unplug the the connection from the back of the cassette and plug it directly into the Zumo wire harness. I don't need any other aux inputs or the cassette player? Thanks for your help.

Anyone have one? What do you like about it? What don't you like? Issues? Did you switch from a 550 to 665? If so do you like the 550 or 665 better and why? Is the only difference between 660 and 665 is XM?

Santa Claus....is not too far away.....and I was wondering if I should maybe sell my 550 and replace it with a 665. The xm radio and lane indicators are really very attractive to me...but....is it worth the extra$$$? Maybe members who have owned/used both could give me some insight as to their thoughts on the good/bad/ugly between the two gps's? How much is the xm subscription? How is the reception out in the "boonies" Does the lane indicator work well? on a 6 lane freeway for instance...... Where did you install the xm antennae? Can you install it inside the fairing? What's my 2 year old 550 worth? Will the 550 cradle mount(Ram mount) work for the 665? Thanks for your insights..... gunk:mo money:

Looking hard at a new 665 to replace both existing nuvi and xm radio. Question is: Do I need a "hard connect" between the 665 and bike (though AUX input?) OR will it transmit directly through the Yamaha FM radio as I do with my existing XM radio? If I need a connecting cable, does it come with the unit or ? THANKS!

So with the new Zumo 665 out, and at a heavy price, any one have any comments yet if they are using this unit? Literally an all in one unit, GPS , XM statelite, blue tooth and all the feature of the 660. Looking for feed back before I start looking to lighten up my wallet on the price. Thanks

Looking for a gps. I know lots of threads, but looking for feedback on who has a 665 and how you like it todate. Also any pictures of how mounted it and antenna mt would be appreciated. Did everything come with it to mount? I think the price is nuts, but I want gps with built-in XM and Garmin has a $100 rebate going right now on zumo's which helps. Thanks in advance for imput.

January 6, 2010 2:45 PM PST CES: Garmin debuts Zumo 665 motorcyle GPS by Antuan Goodwin Font size Print E-mail Share Post a comment Yahoo! At CES 2010, Garmin has added a new top-of-the-line model, the Zumo 665. The 665 replaces the previous Zumo flagship, the 660, but almost matches the previous unit spec for spec. Both units have the same 4.3-inch WQVGA touch screen, removable, rechargeable lithium ion battery, and waterproof construction. Both feature Bluetooth hands-free calling with A2DP stereo audio streaming. Dig a little deeper and you'll find that the new 665 boasts a better battery life (up to five hours versus the 660's three), but the biggest change is the switch to XM NavTraffic and weather from the soon-to-be-defunct MSN Direct network used by the older unit. A cool byproduct of the XM traffic integration is that the Zumo 665 can also stream XM Radio programming through its integrated speaker or to Bluetooth-connected headphones or helmet headsets. Combining an XM Radio tuner and a waterproof GPS device in one housing makes us feel a little better about the Zumo 665's $999 MSRP, but not much. The Zumo 665 motorcycle GPS navigation device is currently available.
