Been cruising some posts for variations in Tires and their mfg codes/sizes. Stock Brickstones are 150-80H-16 front and a 150-90H-15 rear Avon's are (from what I can tell) Front: Avon AM41 150/80-16 71H Rear: Avon AM42 150/90B15 80H I can't find a listing for a 130 Avon for the front ... they do have them (yes/no)? I also read elsewhere in the site that someone's running a 180 rear.. can we put a 180 on and if so, what brand/code/size? Would also appreciate list of other brands/codes/sizes you guys are running ... I want to go with a 130 front.

My current rear tire is a Dunlop 190/60R/17. This size is only made by Dunlop and Bridgestone. Avon makes a 180/60R/17. How much differents is there between a 190/60R/17 tire and a 180/60R/17 tire? From looking at a tire chart. The 190 and the 180 is the section width in mm. So one is 10 mm wider then the other? Could the 180 be used in place of the 190? What effect would there be?

Well.....after months of intense negotiations with the personal financial planner at my house(the Mrs.) I am the proud owner of a new 2008 RSTD! Took delivery of it today. Had to ride 180 miles to get it and then just HAD to ride 180 miles home....darn! I bought this bike after selling the Vulcan 750 I had. I did not test drive one....just sat on it in the shop many times.....today on the way home today....it was so much better than I had anticipated! Very cool bike! I look forward to sharing adventures with all of you!

I'm not much into sport bikes but this is a nice bike. Wouldn't mind playing with it for a few days. 180 HP twin cylinder. http://www.webbikeworld.com/ducati-motorcycles/ducati-1098-r/
