    After the issue I had last night with the gas shooting from my tail pipe I of couse had to change the oil. I check the owner manual and it list 20w40 as the recommended oil. So I checked Wally World, Menards, and Advanced Auto. No one had it. ended up with Quaker State 10w40. Hope this is ok. I did see Rotella 15w10 thought about that, but I was thinking Rotella is for deisel engines.

    I put in AMSOIL 10w40 instead of the recommended 20w40. Noticed the other day when I saw the container under my work bench. Strange I hadn't noticed before. Got a few 1000km's on it. Should I be concerned?

    OK Yamaha has stop making 20w-40 oil now. I alway thought that was strange weight for a oil but that is what they said to use. I can not get a straight answer from one dealer to the next on what Yamaha says to us now. Is anyone using 20w 50 out there and for how long or is 10W40 the way to go what to do, what to do? sorry 2nd gen :7_6_3[1]::7_6_3[1]::7_6_3[1]:

    I want to go synthetic ,I can get mobil 1 for motorcycles near my place , witch one would you recommend the MX4T 10W40 or the V-Twin 20W50
