Mathematics: This comes from 2 math teachers with a combined total of 70 yrs. experience. It has an indisputable mathematical logic. It also made me Laugh Out Loud. This is a strictly ..... mathematical viewpoint.. and it goes like this: What Makes 100%? What does it mean to give MORE than 100%? Ever wonder about those people who say they are giving more than 100%? We have all been to those meetings where someone wants you to give over 100%. How about achieving 103%? What makes up 100% in life? Here's a little mathematical formula that might help you answer these questions: If: A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z Is represented as: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26. Then: H-A-R-D-W-O-R-K 8+1+18+4+23+15+18+11 = 98% And K-N-O-W-L-E-D-G-E 11+14+15+23+12+5+4+7+5 = 96% But , A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E 1+20+20+9+20+21+4+5 = 100% And, B-U-L-L-S-H-I-T 2+21+12+12+19+8+9+20 = 103% AND, look how far ass kissing will take you. A-S-S-K-I-S-S-I-N-G 1+19+19+11+9+19+19+9+14+7 = 118% So, one can conclude with mathematical certainty, that while Hard work and Knowledge will get you close, and Attitude will get you there. Its the Bull$hit and A$$ Kissing that will put you over the top. Now you know why some people are where they are & especially the one's currently in our congress running our country and elected to president and vice-president!

This web site may have already been mentioned on VR,,, but it's worth repeating. Just like there is a "gas buddy" site to tell you the gas prices in your area ( gasbuddy.com ) there is also a non commercial web site to help you locate gas stations that sell non-ethanol 100% gas. It's user updated, so, not necessarily guaranteed or certified. I happend to look the other day and found out the Shell just down the road from me has just started to carry it in 87 octane!!!! Green politics aside,,, my Venture runs a whole lot smoother and better mileage on 100 %GAS. The local guy actually put in a new pump/tank to carry it. His main island is still ethanol. He charges $0.10 more than ethanol 87, but that's okay by me. We have a lake in the area so it's good for the boaters too. If you go to web site, click on your state then look for your city (alpha). Hi guys.. buddy and I ran into a weird one today.. After a week of torrential downpour and heavy winds, the weather finally cleared enough to get the bikes out for a cold windy run.. we're die hard riders who refuse to put their bikes away.. When I got to my buddy's house his bike was idling very oddly...and this is where everything goes wrong to worse.. Full choke ON, bike barely idling.. but it's idling prolly sounds like 900 rpm.. if you touch the throttle, the bike dies.. If you take the choke off, the bike dies.. It needs full choke and don't play with the throttle.. VERY odd indeed.. We DID see this a few weeks ago in New Hampshire on a late season road trip.. but the bike cleared itself inside of 5 minutes and ran 100% since then.. so odd. But this time, no go.. Nothing you could do would clear what ever was causing it.. Then we noticed that the sound was getting even more odd.. Hello, what's this.. We then noticed that the front jugs were not making heat at all.. and then ONLY the rear left jug.. (I have to stop touching hot metal exhausts.. ) try as we could, the bike would not start and stay running.. Not good.. Now, the bike had been sitting in his garage for a week, semi heated, but with about a 1/4 tank of fuel in it.. shouldn't have made too huge a difference.. We added another 1/2 gallon of fuel to the tank with some SeaFoam.. ya never know.. but no change. It just wouldn't catch.. When you cranked the starter, you could hear the one jug catching but not igniting completely and the other jugs just going along for the ride, not firing.. I don't recall a lot of raw fuel smell either.. windy as it was.. Battery was on a tender all week before this.. So, we abandoned his bike for the winter.. I sadly said goodbye to my friend and hauled out of there for a quick spin before heading home and getting some fresh fuel into my gas tank for the next storage period.. And I get the phone call, the bike started and is running 100% fine.. HUH? Just like it did in New Hampshire.. We thought then that the bike, sitting outdoors in the overnight cold rain might have had some water in it.. But what the? Breaking it down to the bare minimums, we thought what about the fuel filter? I changed his filter in July, perhaps 15,000 miles ago.. Not long in TIME but perhaps due in mileage? My fuel filter had clogged so badly that it starved the engine last year.. Then what about the pump? My pump had died prematurely and in such a weird and wild manner, maybe his is doing the same thing? But while we were cranking the engine over earlier on, the pump was getting warm, indicating to me perhaps that it is work OK.. otherwise a failed pump wouldn't make any heat if it's not working? Gremlins.. what the heck.. No idea what caused this failure today, its very similar to what happened a month prior.. and now the bike works 100% no probs, lots of power and almost like it never happened.. How do you start trouble shooting such a problem? The bike is under warranty but the shops here are lacking in experience on these types of bikes, he might never see his bike back again.. Any thoughts or idea what to look for the NEXT time the bike does this again.. if ever? Thanks M8

2 weeks and one day after my horse riding (or falling off) accident in which I broke a rib, I took the bike an a 35 mile round trip ride to Meijer. It felt great to be on it. No problems with the exception of backing the bike up. Still not 100%, but getting better.

today i was bidding on a brand new 460 progressive rear shock and spring still in the box, for my gold wing on ebay. it lists for $604.00. the best price i have seen was $509.00. on ebay there was a buy now price of $425.00 with $12.00 shipping. i jumped in on the bidding. since i was going to get some sleep. i dropped a max bid in of $250.00. when i signed off i was high bidder at $104.50. any way the auction ended at midnite so i get up and was expecting the other bidders to kisk butt at the last minute. not so. i got the shock for 104.50 plus the shipping. the seller has 100% positive feedback. needless to say i'm flying high on the best buy i ever made on ebay by far. now we will see if the seller keeps his 100% feedback. kind of scary.

I have seen trailers at rallies that resemble 57 chev's, corvettes and 65 mustangs. These were built to be pulled behind motorcycles, they look like cars on trailers, are made of fiberglass, and they open up and are cargo trailers. I seem to remeber them being made in Louisianna but not 100% sure of that. Anyone know anything about them?

I got a buyer for my 86 VR, full price [$4400] if I hold it until spring [no problem] eBay Item # 110201753639. Almost the same ad as in our classifieds here. He wants proof that i have this scoot in my possession. He is a few states away & auction ends in 2 days. I have 100% (23) rating since Dec 02 with eBay, but he is wise to be cautious. How do i prove this by email or phone? Any Ideas?
