    Hi all, I just got sticker shock from Allstate in CA. I was ok paying in the 3's but $437 WITH over $200 in "discounts"? time to shop. This is with perfect driving record and having my motorcycle license for 46 years.     Made a settelment with Progressive insurance on the 91 Venture yesterday. Couldn't believe how easy it went. They used the Nada and gave me $5300 for the bike and acessories. Even paid the sales tax and registration fees. Then they paid for two jackets and helmet. The total was $5984 after my $250 deductible. I took it and let them have the bike. They will pick it up tommorow. Can't complain about that.

    I've negotiated an Actual Cash Value of $5800 for my 91 Venture Royale of 9650 miles, with my insurance co. It was tough negotiating but I feel that I did really good. So $5800 minus $250 deductable minus $300 Salvage = $5250. Inaddition I'll get $1050 for my riding gear.

    Just wondering if anyone that has these on a 2nd Gen (not triked) and what your thoughts are? I like the idea of the passenger comfort but do they get in the riders way? When backing the bike up, do you make sure they are in the back position or can you back up the bike with them forward? At $250 they seem expensive... but worthwhile?

    I'm looking to replace my head light with an LED Have any of you installed one of these or anything similar http://www.truck-lite.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=92025&langId=-1 Do our head light reflector housing come out on our 2nd gens? I can get one for around $250 off of Amazon. My head light is the only light on the bike that is not LED at this point. I just changed out the passing lamps for LED's What a difference!!!

    I give up on my carbs. Just can't make it run right. Pinwall has a set, but there $250 plus shipping. Does anybody have a set they know are good and want to sell?

    Been looking for a GPS and found a new Zumo 450 for $250. Is that a good price or should I stick with buying a nuvi 780 like I had planned? Thanks!
