Just downloaded the Mad Maps for Garmin. They have the US on sale now for $25 (reg $30). Still exploring what has been added to my Zumo after downloading Mad Maps but a neat feature under Extra's is you can pick a state and sorted by distance from your current location it will tell you what is in the State plus "more" gives you details about the sights. Haven't played around with it enough yet to know if it also downloads their routes but at $25 for all of the U.S. States it is a good deal. Anyone else use the gps version of Mad Maps ? Too bad they don't have Canada too !

Bought my bike 3/2010 battery was kaput! was an old 4 wheeler battery PO put in to make her run. ok fine put a new OEM battery in for $112 from the stealership, ya I know what I got Went out today and nothing... the dash didnt even light up Put on a charger for about 4 hrs at 10 amps and only enough to turn lights on and the dreaded clicking noise... Went to interstate battery and they confirmed it was DOA $77 later I had a new battery. Owner said I should buy one of his battery tenders for $25 and it would turn off and on topping the battery off. Somehing about .075 millamps very slow charge. Said if I did that every time I parked it, that it would extend the life of the battery. Have always been a firm believer in you get what you pay for so.... is a battery tender brand so much better than the ones for $12 or the HF $7 centurion?

I picked up 2 front fender rails at the local dealer. I have one listed currently on Ebay, since I only need 1. If anyone on this site wants to use the Buy it Now and sends me a message that you are a member of Venture Rider, I will give a $25 discount for being a member of Venture Rider. Total would be $80 shipped to your house. I will also give a $25 dollar discount on Buy it Now for the Royal Star Tour Classic Tall Windshield.

I was hoping someone can answer this question. Why is the insurance so high on my 07 RSTD. Its about $700 a year for full coverage with progressive. I was playing around on their site and a Vulcan 1600 nomad is $200 a year less and even an Ultra classic that costs 10 grand more is $25 a year less. I knew it was higher going in but I was just curious why. Are the replacement parts expensive or do they total easily?

I was at a local HD dealer and saw they had the Kuryakyn l.e.d. volt meters for about $25. I found them here. http://www.kuryakyn.com/index.cfm/go/Home.ProductDetail/IMID/872 Rod

My wife gave me a pair of battery powered heated gloves for Christmas. I had my eye on a pair of Gerbing battery powered gloves for $199 but thought they were a bit expensive so I didn't put them on my list. So I was surprised to open up a pair from Hammacher Schlemmer. I was really skeptical when I heard they were only $25. I went for about a 15 mile ride this evening after dark with temperatures in the mid to upper 30's and I must report that my hands and fingers were quite toasty. They have a battery pack on the back of each one that holds 4 AA batteries and they are supposed to work for 6 hours on high or 8 hours on low. For insulation they use 40g Thinsulate. Even with the power off they are quite warm. I don't know how long they'll last but I think they were worth $25. Here's the link.. http://www.hammacher.com/publish/73123.asp DT
