The Marshal Posted March 24, 2012 #2 Posted March 24, 2012 What did that come off of? I think it looks pretty good. Is is comfortable?
star4772 Posted March 24, 2012 Author #4 Posted March 24, 2012 What did that come off of? I think it looks pretty good. Is is comfortable? Very comfortable according to GF. It is a 1500 goldwing trunk I found brand new never used for $345.00 off E-bay. Going to install luggage rack and pad below the passanger backrest to fill in space. Joe
star4772 Posted March 24, 2012 Author #5 Posted March 24, 2012 I don't like it, take it off right now. Dang just can't please nobody.
DragonRider Posted March 24, 2012 #6 Posted March 24, 2012 Like the height of the back rest, but to me the shape of the box doesn't really go with the lines of the TD.........but all that matters is that your girlfriend is comfortable.
warriorhoneybee Posted March 24, 2012 #7 Posted March 24, 2012 a little boxier but I'm sure when the paint matches it wont be as noticeable. I'll give ya three stars for your marksmanship.

Well for the price differance of about 500 dollars I will live with it. I think it will look better when it is finished off.

Brake Pad Posted March 25, 2012 #11 Posted March 25, 2012 when you paint it to match the bike, there opinion's will change
star4772 Posted March 25, 2012 Author #12 Posted March 25, 2012 when you paint it to match the bike, there opinion's will change Might not paint it. It does match the front coweling and the air filter boxes. They are same color Black and grey. Not this year any way, maybe next year.
RSTDdog Posted March 26, 2012 #13 Posted March 26, 2012 Well I just might have to change the name. I always said i wanted it to be differant from the rest. It might just be one of a kind Joe How about Gold Star.... The gold wing trunk has turn signals and brake light in it right? A picture from the rear would be nice to see. Once you paint it, look into to having a pillow top look backrest and pad done at an upholstery shop to match the OE seat. Paint and a matching backrest will help with blending the look. RSTDdog
