I saw the first notice about SuperBrace coming on board a while back and it made me chuckle. Can't see that it will be a huge hit on your sales myself Condor when folks Compare price, quality and function. Your brace meets all my standards and more. Still running mine and have recommended it to many others. I remember when you got fan mail from SuperBrace because "their" name got misused when your braces came out. I saw that as a plug in your favor if they were worried enough to see it as a threat to their business to start firing off letters. I think you will sell more a lot more braces here even with their banner. It ain't gonna hurt ya. Keep after it my friend. We are behind ya on the braces. I do agree its good to have choices. In these tight times its not had to make a good one. From my Droid wherever I may happen to be at any given moment.

Can't argue there crusher. Never felt the need for it either before. But the situation I've been in recently made the need for a contact point common to about everyone pretty attractive. Oddly enough shortly after posting my question here yesterday i got a message notification from FB explaining that my account was suspected as a fake. I was given steps to verify who i was . After doing that i was able to log in normally. The same few members from here and one old friend of mine still showed. Until this morning. Same error again. Grrrrr. So much for a free and simple contact point. So to the VR members who have posted me on FB thanks. But i guess I'm done with FB. Not bad. About 72 hours before they ticked me off. No "Like" button for them today. LOL. From my Droid wherever I may happen to be at any given moment.

Might add i just noticed this. In the settings for sync before i had the error problem when i opened the synce control it showed my email account and Utube along with the FB account. Now the FB don't show. So i tried to open a new sync account for FB using the same email and password and get the same error message. Kinda odd. OK. I've avoided the FB movement for years. I finally broke down and signed up on my android cell on the providers app. Found a few of the crowd here and even had some old friends contact me. Everything was working fine. So last night i go to sign on (using the proper email address and correct password) and get the message "error occurred during sign in. Please try later." Well that was 24 hours ago and still getting the same error message. If this common stuff or not? Any suggestions? Thanks Mike From my Droid wherever I may happen to be at any given moment.

Not familiar with the sharper unit but had been using the Drift HD for a while. For sure a few extra SD cards are handy. I've got a remote on the handle bars so i can select my shots a bit easier without filling the card with long clips. Using the HD setting really Burns up the space fast. I've found setting it for the 720 rate still gives me great playback and more recording time. I tried several mounting points and ended up building my own systems. Best, on the fairing bolted to the stays. But for fun and different veiws i have one on the low end of the crash bars i can quickly change from front to rear veiw. Have fun. Lots of things to try. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/11/30/ajusa3eh.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/11/30/uvu3ajer.jpg From my Droid wherever I may happen to be at any given moment.

My last two cars have been Lincolns. After those i have missed my '62 Impala dearly. No gizmos. No gadgets. Could always get home as long as i had a screwdriver, a nail file and a paperclip. I dread ever having to buy a new car. From my Droid wherever I may happen to be at any given moment.

The thing you have to consider is the I.D. of the hole in the washer. The smaller I.D. washer goes below the seal against the upper bushing in the lower leg. Make sure that bushing is fully seated. The larger I.D. washer goes above the seal so the opening clears the lip on top of the seal. There is one brand of seals i know of , "Pyramid" that are too thick and will not seat properly under the retainer. I can't say if there is any thickness difference between the two I.D. sizes. One of each on each size should work fine.. From my Droid wherever I may happen to be at any given moment.

stater magnet STUCK!
Snaggletooth replied to Black wing's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Oh boy. Brings back memories. First thing a quality three way.puller is primary need. Grade 8 bolts to.mount it. A heavy thick grade 8 washer to protect the end of the crank so the internal threads don't get damaged. A 1/2 air impact is handy.. remember that these are not like a shaft on a car harmonic. They are a tapered shaft sp when it comes.loose it coming off fast and hard. Unless you have fast hands and catch cannon balls you will need to get some padding under the rotor and don't let of bounce off the floor. Set up the puller and crank it down. I used a propane torch to warm up the rotor around the shaft. Tightenit some more.. if.you feel the need to hit something hit the head of.the puller shaft. Not the rotor..you can crack the magnets doing that. Its a do and do.it again process with a rotor.that may have never been off in a few decades. Truth be told i fought mine all afternoon one day. I frustration in left in and went to bed. I'd forgotten to.release the pressure on the puller when i quit. I woke up the next morning and found the rotor about a foot away from they bike laying on the stack of packing quilts i had laid down to protect.it if i dropped it. I can't say if the cooler overnight temps and caused Contraction of the shaft after rotor had been heated or if the garage gremlins had fixed me up. But it can be frustrating to get it off. You ain't the first one to bust a puller doing it. Hang in there. Check with a local auto parts store that has a loaner program for tools if you have one in the area. These usually have quality puller kits. From my Droid wherever I may happen to be at any given moment. -

[quote One thing that is quite different between this site and others is most of y'all here are old geezers like me! That says a lot about why this site is the way it is. Snaggletooth replied to jasonm.'s topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
I had 43k when i replaced mine during the rebuild. They were probably less than half worn. I never measured them. At the time i was fighting the old hot start problem. Rebuild, brush ground mod, 4 GA cables, DEKA AGM battery. The works. Yeah. Kinda a heavy draw before all that. The brushes in the used 4 brush unit looked like new. No idea how much it had been used. So from from what I've seen OEM brushes are the answer. But if yours are that good just dress the armature and clean the grooves between contacts. Clean helps a lot. starter idler gear
Snaggletooth replied to jwox's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
By the way...... have fun removing the rotor. First time off the crank can be fun. Lots of stories about that. And protect the threads in the end of the crankshaft at all costs. I found using using a THICK grade 8 washer on the end of the crank worked very well. Been some good stories about that to. NO BEATING THE ROTOR WITH A HAMMER EITHER! YOU BEEN WARNED. LOL. I got to keep following this as the broken idler is driving me nuts. Can't see any reason to beat or pry on one. They usually fall out when you remove the cover. Keep us posted. From my Droid wherever I may happen to be at any given moment. -
