Yep , to bad you guys are not closer to me , thats what I do for a living , you can buy a kit and a rubber roof from your RV dealer , get the rubber at least 3 ft. longer than your roof and always get the widest - 9.5 feet because it never gos on straight , A/C gaskets have tobe changed every 5 years , when pulling the A/C down on the gasket , pull it down to 3/4 in. thick . the white sealet is Dicor self leveling , only use Dicor , nothing else ! the rubber roof is made to bond with Dicor only ! you can peal the old off , lightly clean the seams and put a 1/2 in bead on the seams , around the vents use 3 over lapping beads . It takes me a hour to a hour and half per running foot to replace a rubber roof and in 32 years of working on RVs I have done it many , many times ! If you order the roof online the freight will be high the roof weighs a lot , If you buy from a RV dealer there will be no freight if the dealer trys to charge freight , he is riping you off ! most RV dealers will give you 10 % off if you try real hard on a roof and install kit . If you need more info I am willing to help here or pm or just call me . Thom

Not tobe a pain but I think you need to use that alum. metal cup thingy , that covers the oil filter that bolt gos through , not just use the bolt and spring only to hold the oil filter on , use less oil that way ? anyway thats how we do down here . -

[quote I should think the MR90-18 and the MU90B16 E3's would work just fine on a gen1. I sure hope so as those are the ones I was planning on getting for my 90 VR when I eventually get it on the road. Thats what I have on mine , Tried the Kindas and they started cupping after 4000 miles , had e-2s on it when i bought the bike they were great , but i really like the e-3s .

Thanks ! now I gotta go poke my minds eye out

I think it's fun to do 9000 r's in 3rd gear and it's more fun with a 2nd gen on your tail ! But have you ever tried to lean into a sweep at 9k , its kinda spooky !

I use Google voice and google chat , both are free , With google voice I have 1 ph. # and all my phones ring when i get a call and transfers to the phone that i pick up . when i buy a new cell phone , i just add the # to my acct. and it will ring when somebody calls my google phone # . I hate the hoops i have to jump through to keep my phone # every time i buy a new cell phone or change cell companys . at home I use the a headset or the the mic and speaker on my puter to make or receive calls and it has more options than land lines companys like if i answer the cell , i can transfer it to any phone by hitting 1 , i have voice mail and all voice mail is sent to my email transcribed or i can here it to . i can screen calls , send calls to spam and a lot more ! I started using Google Voice when it was Beta a few years back and not had a land line since . I tryed magic jack for 2 years , it sux ! most cell phones have a app. for Google voice . for video call I use google chat that is on my email acct , i can also make phone calls through my email acct. too at work i plug my headset into the office puter make a call and the person on the other side caller ID reads I am on my cell phone or house phone , all free . if anybody wants to check it out call me , my # is listed here and my puter ip is clear wire wireless . I will never pay for a V.O.I.P.
