i agree with condor , if us old f*rts are such bad riders than why is the insurance so cheep ? i know when i was young i could not go a mo. with out running into , falling off or being hit by someone , i have not done a wheelly , a burnout or broke my neck looking at pretty girl [ i am so old now i have to stop to look now ] in many years . ask your wife who she wants to ride with you or some younster , i just ask my wife what she thought , she said think about it , she falls a sleep all the time riding on back so she must feel safe or she'll let me know , ouch. if you need more facks both of you should take a m/c safety class . my wife did , she enjoyed it and she passed thom

do you got somebody to weld it for you , than retap the hole , take off the pan , wash it very good , wash it with acetone than pour acetone over both sides do not wipe it off , let it air dry , you can have a welding shop weld it up , the hard part is taking the pan off and putting it back on .

i remember using a 15 in car tire on my hard tail , a tire for a VW , 15lbs air , they were great for a hard tail 2 1/4 rake 19 in ex. springer front end , had the rear end slide out from under me many times and to make a turn on a wet road , both feet were down , i still dream about it -- nitemares 25000 miles of worrying on a car tire or 8000 miles of fun on a m/c tire you pick me it is fun thom
