Hand Held CB Microphone

but kit remember M/C cops used a hand held mike for many years and it is just as bad as using a drink holder , i have use a hand held many times in the old days , BUUUT as soon as you try a head set you never use a hand held again , the old ways are ok but i am spoiled i like the new toys ! -
how about we can count a meet and eats that are posted here ? oh and we need pic's for proof :rotfl:always need pics

dragracer you are mean !! i need some smoked mullet . i got figger how to do both coast at the same time , a 1st gen is fast but not that fast and just think everybody up north are putting there m/cs up for the season :rotfl:and i can't figger out where to go :rasberry:

i think we are stuck on name brands we know , most of us can only name 3 or 4 brands but world wide the US do not have that many bikes and we don't use that many tires , some of the tires we use are made by a tire co. we never heard of they just put a name on we know and charge us more . i have kenda krus tires that are sold in south amer. and in the far east and kenda sell a lot more tires over there . if a co. makes a 100 million tires they can sell them cheaper , the big 3 brands here in the US are really a small market compared to the rest of the world . i would like to know who is the largest m/c tire manufacture in the world is ? and what is the best tire is world wide . i don't care about name brands , i would just like the best .

i have the midland hand held , walmart for 89.97 , a headset from buy.com 11.99 + shipping the midland comes with a battery pack a recharge pack and a adapter for ext. ant. and a cig liter plug i put another cb ant. on the bike matching the org. one , had to put own a lot bigger muff on the mike but it worked pretty good i just clipped it on the cup holder .

not bad for 15000 but your badder then me i would had change it at 12000 :stirthepot: it looks like you did one helva burn out :rotfl:, but how many of us could get 15000 out of any tire ???

i need a metal chin , the lower fairing below the rad. on a 1st gen , i do not care what condition it is in , rust , no lites , holes is ok , i plan to paint . it will look a lot better with the randya cut and i need some place to put my oil filter anybody got one ? thanks thom

i just found out i got a cma group from orlando area are camping at my camp ground next week . anybody here belong to them ? or do i get to stalk them by my self , my luck it will be a bunch of HD and wing riders , but i can still talk their ears off and than out run them and upto the meet and eat , may be i'll be talked out before i get up there , that ain't gona happen :rotfl:

the 2nd gens are 1in ?? i was thinking of using shims , if i can find a brake and clutch m/c off a 2nd gen i think they have the same wiring , on ebay there going for 195.00 used each and that ain't gonna happen , i'll find some a lot cheaper , i am also looking for some calibers from a r-6 but i think there made of gold :rotfl:and i am like you 1g's brakes aren't that great .

jim , what do think about steeling a 2nd front master cylinder , i have not looked at one real close , i know the bars are 1in. but can fix that . ????

I changed my cover , that darn shifter got me twice , that was the only hard part . stealer did not have a gasket in stock but he cut me one in 5 mins. if your dealer do not have one ask him to cut one for some reason i had to ask him to cut it , he could not offer it to me ???

i have free AVG and i like it but , it scans at the wrong the time , anybody know how to turn off the auto scan ?? when it dos a scan it takes about 30 to 45 mins. and almost shuts down this old laptop , i would like to scan manuly only not auto . thanks thom

Steve , down here we have a lot more moister , i have torn apart motors and have found water in the upper apart of the crankcase and valve covers using dino. or syn. . i have had rockers , cams and valve stems go bad and is really hard on pcv and reed valves , i tell all of my costumers to change their oil at least 2 times a year or at 3000 miles . 1 time a year i like running a can of K N in the oil 15 mins. before oil change , i have not enough guts to do it to our bikes , next time i am going to put a can of seafoam in the oil before i change my oil .
