thanks dingy ! so the R1 and the fjr are 14 mm too but what is the amount of fluid they are pushing ? the pistons are 14mm around but how long is the stroke ? or how many cc's of fluid is being pushed ?

i have been looking for fjr m/c and all i have found are the ones with the plastic res. and the cast on my 1 gen Mk2 m/c is 5/8 . i have the R1 mod and it is delinked , kind of a let down because i have to use a lot of lever pull and if i pull to hard it is graby . i was thinking about a bigger m/c with a longer lever mite help . i have never locked up the front tire and i have tried while moving . what size m/c do the R1's use ? JimBob is using a m/c off a Sussy . Jack , if you try it and shim the G2s don't use the steel tubing use the 1 in alum. , it is softer and will grab better .

its a 5 pin Bosh type relay , your local auto parts store will have them , look in the fog lite section . its the same relay used when installing fog lites .

the owners man. says 3.9 for a completely empty motor like when pulling the oil pan , a little bit of oil stays in the motor , the max would be 3.5 . but some motors take even less , i can only put in 3.2 in mine . check your air filer box and see if there is oil in it if there is than you have put in to much oil . when putting new oil , put in 3 qts. wait about 5 mins. than start the motor run for 1 min , let rest for 2 min , than add enough oil to bring it up to a little below 1/2 way mark .

JB , i am trying to do the same thing , but i want to install my mp3 instead a garmin , did you use a sw. to go from radio to the input or you just jump pin 1 and 7 and wire in a plug for your garmin ? if anybody else knows please jump in , trying to get this done today , thanks

also , seafoam when almost pure burns white , you mite have got a lot of seafoam in one cyl. it don't hurt it . when i pickle gensets i run pure seafoam until they blow white smoke than shut them down for the season .

I want say thanks i just down loaded Open Office , its a big program , i would not want to put it on my netbook but for the my main puter it is great ! will it read MS Word and Other MS Docs ? Thom

i learn about it when i unplug the phone so i would not to answer when i was working with the puter , somebody called and it scared the you know what out of me , than i clicked it on to see who was calling me , the onboard mic heard me B--chin about the person who was calling .OOPS !

:rotf: no , you don't have to use a phone , you can use the onboard mic and speaker but i like to use a head set with a mic

39 bucks at walley world but your gonna git a San Antonio phone no. here , the neet thing is you can unplug it from your home puter and plug it into the laptop and take with you

i have the same 1 , it's great , at home i use a vga cord and plug it into a 22 in flat screen tv . it is 4 times more then my 1000.00 lap top , it has lot more usb ports than the old LP plus a sd card slot , i also use flash drives to put some thing on instead using disks

yep , it is my home phone , cell do's not work in the house and i am to cheap to put in a land line , it works very good with Clear wire , i also use Google Voice . Thom

i hate say this but FDS works too , that is what sick bay used in Rhode Island on me , the 1st nite i spent on the navy base i stepped out the back door on a big Yankee skunk . 20 years later i crawled under the house to fix a a/c duct and met one face to face , used the same stuff , i asked my friend to go the store for me because i smelled too bad , i thinking he still laughing after all these years
