  1. James, Yes, I have looked at this shield. Two things stopped me from considering it. 1) I’m looking for something a little taller than they offer to get the wind off my passenger. 2) I’m vertically challenged and I think the division between the two parts of the shield would be real close to my line of sight. I think the Baggershield is an interesting product and would work wonderfully for many people, but I really want the extra protection of a taller shield. Thanks for the info, and I look forward to riding with you in the future. Be blessed. Toby
  2. All, Thank you very much for responding to my post. I’m still not sure which way I’m going to go; however, I like the idea of the vent producing a smoother air flow for my passenger. Less buffeting for my wife is one of the reasons for going with the tall shield. Again, thanks and be blessed. Toby
  3. I am about to pull the trigger on a F4 Customs 19.5” windshield. However, I am undecided on whether or not to get the vent. What are the pros and cons of having the vent, and those of you that have it, would you do it again. Thanks Toby
  4. James, I wasn’t that great of a deal. I had to come up with some money to make it happen. I was always told that a Harley has great resale value. Apparently if you put a lot of miles on them the resale value really takes a dive. Be blessed. Toby
  5. All, Thank you for the warm welcome. I’m looking forward to getting to know all of you through this forum and hopefully in person. There is a lot of good information here, and I’ve already decided the first mod to the bike will be the big F4 windshield. I spent too much time being beat about the head and shoulders by the wind on the Sportster. I want to be able to spend some quiet time on the bike. Be blessed. Toby
  6. I traded a 2007 Sportster with 58,000 miles on it for a 2008 Venture (Black Cherry / Raven) with 15,300 miles. It’s been two weeks and 900 miles since I bought the Venture, and I’m more than happy with my decision. The RSV is much more comfortable than the Sportster, especially when the temperature drops into the low 20s. Furthermore, my better half much prefers the back of the venture over the Sportster. Be blessed. Toby
