sounds like a weaner, if i can get all my ducks in a row, i will be there. linda is supposed to go in for her brain angiogram in may, but the doc has'nt set a date yet. keep the toaster warm and give me a close motel. we miss you guys. bill and linda

i use ear buds once in awhile, if i don't wear my helmet with the edsets. the earbuds are a real pain. seem to never be in the right place and if you get the cord caught on something it yanks them out. not real comfortable unless you have the high dollar custom fitted ones. another plus for the edsets is the non break cord. i think this is their main claim to fame.

i'm here, and snarley as ever. had alot going on this winter, (nothing bad), still trying to burn the candle at both ends. i've been doing alot of riding, and working on my nomad build. the nomads almost done and i have been riding it. i am going to get rid of some bikes, and down size a little. got my zx-14 on the block. can't seem to sell it. linda says maybe it's cuz no one knows it's for sale. thats kind of what i had in mind. lol. any way, looking for a big riding season this year. i may put a meet on this year not sure yet. would just like to go to some others and enjoy some one elses meet for a change. kind of low on energy lately i think they call it old age catching up. lewis, sure wish your meet was this year we would like to make it down to georgia again. bill

i have 2 helmets with edsets and very poor hearing. i have tried several of the cheapies and they just did'nt have the frequency range i could hear. the edsets work great for me i needed alot of base responce the edsets gave me that. i really like mine. they give me a full range of stereo sound. i never use the speakers on my wing. i can't hear them unless i blast people out of their cars. the edsets have a full range of frequency responce. don't see how any could give more responce than the edsets.

i'm game, name a date. i'm going to greenwood ar. next month for the annual cushman scootermeet, and planning on going to the eidelweiss the first part of june to meet some nomad owners at their meet. i plan on doing alot of traveling and camping this summer with my new bike trailer. haven't pulled it to far yet but i have hitches on the wing and v-star. any one want to go camping, barbeque, and drink some beer give me a holler.bill

i had to cancel the meet for personal reasons. just needed to take a year off. i may get a meet together in ar. sometime this summer. it will probably be a spur of the moment thing and it will either be at the hub, or the eidelweiss inn in eureka springs. i will keep everyone posted. old age is catching up with me so i need to slow down a little. bill

that about covers it, don't forget the very fast, and sport tourer handling. i could add a bunch more too. i only gave $16,500 for my 08 wing out the door. swifty and i were down at russleville honda last summer where i got mine. i thought he was gonna take one home.

tell don good luck with the surgery. patti if you learn how to haul him around on that bike the roads will be much safer. :rotf:linda and i will be praying for his quick recovery. we will have a toast for him, with jelly .

gary, linda and i watched almost the whole auction. wish you would have hogged the camera and waved at us. we might make it there one of these days. worlds biggest car show.

hey don, you had some cool cars. i wish i still had the ones i had. a 39 ford coupe, 63 chevy supersport 327 4spd, 64 gto tri power 4 spd , two 67 gtos, two 55 chevies one with a 454. oh, and the best one of all, my first car, a 49 crosely wagon with a normally asperated 45 cubic inch overhead cam four banger. lol

made the mistake of stopping in at my dealer saturday, and saw, and sat on the new victory crossroads. swore i would never buy another new bike, but this is probably the most beautiful bike i ever set eyes on. ultra comfortable ergomomics. i think it is the best looking factory bagger available. the one they had is jet black and really makes a statement. the only drawback is the lack of water cooling. if i did'nt like my nomad so much, i would consider buying one. it's not in the cards in the near future. maybe next year. i would like to get down to one all around bike and the victory could fill the bill.

don and pat, as you know, jason is on my life time list of heroes. and he rides a real motorcycle. what more can i say. linda and i hope the best of luck to him, and will be praying for his safe tour of duty in afganastan. toaster is working great. see you soon my friend. bill

0 here again, heats on in the garage, if i can't ride, i can still work on them. there is a warming trend in sight. maybe 30 degrees this week. i hate this global warming. maybe al gores hot air could heat my garage.

the 1300 motor has a little more beef in the casting. it would be the block of choice to build a bigbore v-max motor. some folks have done this. i have seen a 1500 cc max with a holly 4 bbl. based on the 1300 block, also converted to chain drive, another common practice.
