this is great info .there are so many wives tales out there about oil and filters.which surprises me with the info available on the net.like the clutch slippage issue, and friction modifiers.won't go into that one.i have done research on oil for the last forty years.and until recently it was one of the best kept secrets.now there is vast info available on oil and filters.get out there and read it.don't listen to just anybody that forms an uneducated opinion.bill
sure looks like an old tire .it would have to be twenty years old.low pressure alot of weight and high speed can create tremendous heat.that and sidewall flex due to low pressure can disinegrate a tire.look how trucks tear up tires.or look what happens to a tire is you drive on a flat for a short time.just get a new tire and move on.keep a close eye on that tire pressure.thats critical on a bike cuz you have no margin for error with just two tires.bill
sparky ,your another one of us lucky ones.you have a good looking, fast, reliable, state of the art,smooth,2nd gen.and if it's black you have it all.bill :rotf: :rotf:
road my bike to vogel and back hit the twisties to the limit.road wet roads.no adverse affects what so ever.go for them you'll like them.the narrow front tire makes the steering more sensitive.did notice a little wallowing when pushing it in the twisties, but for a bike exceeding 900 lbs., i was impressed.bill
